This business of bigfoot

I've been following the story of this bigfoot body for a few days now with great interest. I tend to be skepticly optimistic that they've actually found something that will show there is a new species out there.
They don't seem to be giving much details about it but I think it would be pretty interesting if it does turn out to be an actual bigfoot. Definately seems to be more proof than what we've seen so far from other hoaxes.

So whats your take? Think its real? Think its fake?

What seems hard to believe, for me at least, is that we've had hunters crawling all over our wilderness areas since the first settlers and no one has killed one yet. Not to mention all the people living in remote areas that would shoot any human they didn't trust. Much less a strange ape-like animal. It would be neat if it was true though.

I think there is certainly the chance that there are many species right here in the US we havent yet recognized. Seems a little far-fetched they'd be this big and undiscovered for this long, but you never know, we overlook things all the time.
Over 100 years ago, when stories about the great apes overseas were starting to come back, everyone called it lies and nobody believed them until they started showing up in zoos and they could actually see them.
Several years ago, someone caught a fish down off Florida if I remember right that scientists agreed had been extinct for like 10,000 years.

The world is too big, and we are too small, to assume that we know what is happening on every square inch of the planet.

Seriously though, one of these years I am going to get a real bigfoot costume made for me. I probably won't wander through campgrounds, mainly for fear of being shot, but it does go over extremely well at halloween parties and for scaring small children. NOt that my ghastly appearance doesn't scare them enough already.

They had to thaw it out to figure out it was fake? One look at the picture proves that, especially the bright white fake looking teeth.
