View Full Version : What are bed rail caps called?

On my 98, I need to replace the gray caps along the top of the side bedrails. I called the dealership and they said the item was not available, that I would have to go aftermarket. I don't believe this item is not available, is there a different name for them.
I'm talking about the item along the top of the truck bed, between the tool box and blue paint.

That's exactly what they're called.
Check out ebay and maybe you'll score some part numbers to go shove in their face at the stealership.
Just checked, and FordPartsOnline lists them as Upper Molding Left and Upper Molding Right.

yeah when I bought them they were ust called moldings, he might have been thinking you were talking about the tubular bed rail things... heres part numbers for you (should be the same as when I purchased mine)

Both were, don't be too suprised here... $80.66 a piece, after our discount, from Phil Long.

oh wait I was looking in the wrong column. They were $64.53 each after our discount. $80.66 before.

Again thanks for the parts numbers, I called Phil Long back and they located them in their system. I'll be picking them up tomorrow. Oh and the price is about what you had listed Matt.
