So I'm working on a pilot for a new children's TV show. Just thought I'd share a few "behind the scenes" pictures. Perhaps this show will actually go somewhere - I'm hoping so because I get a cut of any merchandising profits made. :D
Anyway, it's somewhat similar to Barney (I know - and I'm sorry - I really am! :P) with lots of creatures - people in suits and puppets. It's hilarious to see these things lumbering around - the people inside can barely see - and wondering if they'll fall and take the set down with them! The crew has a pool going... LOL
We've also discussed just how easily this show could be made into one for adults. All of the character's dialog will be dubbed in later as their mouths don't move. So the crew was suggesting some more "interesting" dialog be written and recorded...
Anyway, just wanted to share. I'll be working 12-14 hour days for the next 2 weeks. Should be interesting...

Behind this audio board is where I'm spending the majority of my time as sound designer for the show.
