Im looking for the smallest switchI can find but it must be a single pole double throw 12 volt and up something like a small rocker switch I know Ive seen one recently i just dont recall where and am tired of driving till I find one
It would be similar to one found at many auto parts stors or hardware stores but most of them are single pole singlre throw .I need one that has a single power and when rocked to one side is on on one side and then when rocked to the other side is on to the other side only the grownd would be at the source of the equipment so I do not need a switch with any kind of ground . ON off on , would work .,or , ON . on . that would work too

Please tell Me someone understands what I need ??? I am having a difficult time finding one at the moment .

You want the SWITCH to handle 30 amps? What the heck are you using it for? Aren't you using a relay? The switch should only handle a few amps maximum and I wouldn't want to put any more through it, thats the purpose of relays.

Who's to say it's not already on a relay?

You could use a DPDT, just wire to one side only. It may be easier to find a mini toggle. Just my :twocents: .

if you are using a relay, then the relay is handling the 30 amps, the switch only needs a few watts so look for the tiniest switch you can find and it shouldn't matter.

I rigged it today it probly has a relay I dont know too busy to check all the wiring and or read the book probly wouldnt list the exact voltage for the switch anyway so I went with the beefyiest one I could find .by the way its for the high low on the headlamp they are supposed to be on all the time so no off position but now I have a off in the middle LOL its all good just so I can pass inspection not that Colorado actually has one I justm knew Id need one and wanted it to work properly regardless of my finantial situation

I cant keep up with all of these posts and replies lol so ill just mention an idea if its too late then its too late :D

how About one of them toggles from a plow truck some of them would be four way or more but I am thinking its a nice small one to handle the higher amps and they look cool because its like having a video game controller inside the cab
