Well the time has come, I sold my D44 and 9" and my 37's and my rockwells:D have ben delivered so now the build begins I am watching costs so the front is going to be leaf sprung using my stock rear bronco springs. the rear will be a link suspension , I am still tossing around differnt design ideas. I will post up some pics when I get a chance.

Yeah, Bloodbane made a thread about his 347 install & nobody there responded. If it was a Yota or Jeep with a 347 installed in it, there would have been 4 or 5 pages of responses. I've been thinking they should change the name to what it should really be called, coloradojeepenthusiast4x4.org. It's supposed to be a wheeling enthusiast site but it seems like another Jeep enthusiast site. I've met several really nice people from there & ran trails with 'em. I also met some met some really "high & mighty", "holier than thou", "if it ain't a Jeep-it ain't shit" people too...............I've learned to ignore them.
Sorry about the thread hijack Cory, can't wait to see your pics & wheel with ya again.

I tore down 1 side of the front rock the only problem is the axles are the ball universal type but it will have to do. I am going to buy a new camera and i'll try to post pics tomorow . I may need some help with this as I am a plumber and not a tech kinda guy.

That's the truth! Back in Nebraska and Kansas the Jeep guys were always coming up to me and telling how cool my truck was because it was different. Out here they practically give me the finger. I don't say a word, I just climb up what they can't get over like at China Wall. Some jeep guys are cool over on CO4x4 like TheMike, but they usually don't post a lot over there.

BTW: does anyone know if the computer has an interlock if you take out the gas tank or if you unplug the the ABS motor and ABS module??

Hey can you pull codes and or test it first? I mean it could be, faulty wiring, the coil, ignititon pick-up in the dizzy, the computer or the ignition module. I have found my Hayens manual to have good step by step directions for testing the components. Pull codes and they give a place to start.
Have you checked-out http://www.fordfuelinjection.com ???
rocwagon
01-09-2009, 05:51 PM
I had the Ignition control module checked out ok. I found the enertia switch and the button seems to be pushed in all the way. about pulling codes it would have to be done with a scan tool beacause my dash lights are a bit jacked up and I would get a bunch of abs codes and my check engine light has ben on for 2 years due to a rammed out cat. so if there is anyone that has a scan tool thats willing to drink beer and help figure this out that would be cool..
I have a code reader which basically just counts flashes. I paid $40 duckets but see autozone has one cheaper. now: http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,81028/initialAction,accessoryProductDetail/initialR,3941376/shopping/selectZip.htm
It wouldn't be worth your time and gas to come get mine. I am also trying to work out a few bugs so it is being used. Let me know though we might hook-up.
