I saw a TV spot for this card this morning and couldn't believe it. This may well be the most hilariously offensive Hallmark card, ever! :D

What's the big deal, you may ask? Well, first there's the actual song - "Unbelievable" by EMF which talks about what a bitch this guy's girlfriend is and how he wants to leave her.

Then there's the fact that it features samples of Andrew Dice Clay - an infamous misogynist if ever there was one. And finally, it features the word "fuck" who knows how many times in the chorus - as in "what the fuck waaaas that?" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unbelievable_%28EMF_song%29)

Good job, Hallmark! You have designed a truly HORRIBLE Mother's Day card! :rofl2: Of course, I guess if you hate your mother but don't want to come right out and say it - this could be a good option...

Oh your putting too much thought into it, all most people know of the song is the word "Your unbelievable!" :)

But even that part - "You're unbelievable" isn't said in a positive way. It's like using "I Touch Myself" to tell your spouse they're good in bed... Wait, I bet Hallmark already has that one on the drawing board. :p

You're saying this to a bunch of guys.
Most of us pick cards out by going to the appropriate section, glancing at the picture on the front and picking the one closest to our outstretched hand. If a cards placed in the wrong section, we're in serious danger of buying our wife an anniversary card that says "Happy 92nd birthday from your favorite nephew". (Trust me... Women don't buy it when you try to play it off as a joke either.)
:)

By the way, nobody listens to the words anyways. Sting used to sing about prostitutes and teachers having sex with students, nobody seemed to care.

That's exactly my point! Why would Hallmark - whom we're supposed to trust - produce a card about hating women - for Mother's Day!

Unbelievable! :D

I never thought of it that way...

Hallmark is trying to sabotage us!!! LoL
I do think the "I touch myself" card would be cool.
Hallmark could make millions just on all the cards that would be sent to Scarlette Johansen. :)

Then they need to make one that sings "One bourbon, one scotch and one beer" to send to Paula Abdul and one to sing "who are you" to send to Britney Spears from her kids. :)

There is that possibility...
