Nice job, It's almost funny to see Jesse's truck with a sheetmetal bed.

Jesse, I know I have asked you before but I can't remember. What is the width of your 9' setup (I see your front is 65") and what was the old 8.8 width? I just measured a CrownVic 8.8 and it's 60" WMS to WMS. Just curious...

The 9" is 65" WMS to WMS. A stock ranger 8.8 is 58"
Ideally the front axle should be slightly wider then the rear for proper tracking. Just for reference a stock EB D44 is 61.5" WMS to WMS and 62" WMS to WMS with Chevy disc brakes.

Thanks,
Do you know if the Explorer diff is the same as the Ranger at 58"?
If anyone wants to sell Crown Vic 8.8s to the Jeep guys they should fit at 60" with 31 spline axles and disc brakes.

Explorer axles are slightly wider. It varies depending on the year, but figure on them being 1.5" wider.
