View Full Version : I've spent 10+ hours detailing the truck for SEMA

And yet, when compared to many of the vehicles it looks horribly dirty, LOL. Thats ok though. Even though my truck doesn't compare to a lot of the vehicles here at the SEMA Show, I can say the following:
My truck has 110,000 miles on it, and the only time its been on a trailer was when it was being towed to the transmission shop. A lot of these vehicles probably have about 10 miles on them because they drop off at one spot from trailer, get back on trailer to go home...
My truck is still capable of being a daily driver. Some of these vehicles are so outrageously rediculous you'd never want it to leave your driveway. So I feel good there too.
Some of these people have actually waxed the undersides of the truck. I dont know about you, but they obviously have never been through a Colorado Winter. I just hope nobody looks at mine. LOL.
And I paid for most of the things myself, except a few items which were sponsored. I think many of these people didn't pay for the truck much less all the goodies on it.

I took about 10 pictures of the truck today but naturally, none of them turned out. I am going to try to get some better ones tomorrow. My truck is so shiny that the sun hit it right and all you see is one giant reflection. These are the best two I've got:

The bicycle thing is like a rollbar but it has mounts for a bike, kayaks, hi-lift jacks, and other cool things. I'm trying to talk him into a freebie, we talked for a while, LOL...
As far as the stickers, yeah they got put on at the show. Haven't decided yet if they will remain or not. It does make it easier to get other sponsors, they know you'll pimp yourself LOL.

I think your truck looks awesome, and some of those others have tens of thousands of dollars poured into them.
