It is finally snowing up here in Boulder... pretty exciting stuff for me. Haven't seen snow in a few years i think now. Too bad they don't cancel school when it snows. I think we have an inch by now, at home that would have canceled school for about a week!

WOOHOO!!! Snow! :occasion9:

Matt was supposed to give me "driving in the snow" lessons... I guess I am gonna have to teach myself :dontknow:

Just keep in mind that 4 wheel drive does nothing to help you stop any faster, it just gets you into trouble faster. Remember to brake lightly and well in advance, and you should be just fine.

we've got a dusting on the ground and probably 1/2 inch on the vechicles. a little piece of advise, the snow isn't as much problem as the ice. be careful

Lucky me, I'm supposed to drive an $80,000 Mercedes to central Wyoming tomorrow. Should be fun!

I love the cold. Plus a benefit being this is Halloween, there are few kids coming by. This means what candy I had not eaten before today, will still be left for me.

I cheated on Halloween and made it look like nobody was home. I know, I'm turning into a grumpy old man. LOL...

I want to add, we always get the good stuff. We always have a variety of the top selling candy bars.

i turned off the lights too, im 20 and old and grumpy...geesh, we got about 3 inches in under an hour here, still snowing...yippie. Started snowing within minutes of me getting my freshly sanded car, which is down to bare metal in the garage after swapping batteries so it would move, got to love timing. Lots of accidents up here on I-70 too, its incredible.

Wow, sounds like you guys were lucky. I was 'smart' enough to let my girls sucker me into going out into the freezing rain to trick-or-treat for a little over an hour.

We never did get any real snow in Thornton, just a bunch of frozen rain causing ice everywhere. There was maybe 1/16th of an inch of snow on top of the solid layer of ice.

Yay Snow! The roads aren't too bad here in Boulder so you shouldn't have any problems. My girlfriend dragged me out to our new house in Broomfield because the previous owners told us that there would be a lot of trick-or-treaters. There were a few until the snow came and then all I saw was a couple groups going door-to-door via mini-van across the street. After 20 minutes with no visitors we joined some friends at Dave and Busters.

I actually had heard on the radio coming into work today that they had shut down part of I-25 from the Springs to Castle Rock because it had gotten really bad. Not sure though if it has opened up again or not. the bad thing down here is the wind!! It is crazy cold

Wow. Thats a lot of snow compared to what we have here in Boulder. I'm kinda jealous. Of course I'm just saying that because I've yet to have to shovel my new driveway. It's kinda big.

Well I have to say this has been a very interesting year for me. First off learning to use a manual (3 on the tree no less) and now learning to drive in the snow with a manual. It was a fun morning, but atleast it wasn't one of my "be at work by 4:45am" days. I fish tailed here and there but for the most part did very well. Now I have to teach these newer SUV's going 50 down University that I will go 25 no matter how close they get.

I was enjoying myself last night with the snow.. The wind was blowing like a B#%@% and made some snow drifts so I went drifting in my car. Not to mention this finally motivated me to get the carburators cleaned on my snowmobiles so I can enjoy them this winter.

And as for Matt.... SSSHHHH I don't want to hear about the nice 65 degree weather you are enjoying sooo much... :banghead: I hate you sometimes... LOL :laughing3:

Yesterday got a little chilly for my fat ass, but I did not break out the sweatshirt.
