... and found this sitting in my lot. All original with the exception of the wheels and tailgate, it doesn't look restored at all. Even has the full brake light w/o reverse lights and west coast mirrors. John (my boss) saw it and thought it was a 1/2 ton, upon further inspection turned out to be a 3/4 ton. No idea what powerplant it had in it.

I had a '66 short-wide box when I was in high school. Always thought it would have made a great streetrod truck. Mine had the 352 V-8, being a 3/4 ton that one probably had the 390......

thats really cool. wish I could see the grille to tell ya what year it is, definately 64-66 by the style of bed. prob has a 292 or an FE for engine. thats the same rear bumper mine had on it. had to cut it off because it was so smashed up, when the drivers rear was smacked into it puched the back section of the bed it was attached to outwards a good 12 inches, lol

That is a nice looking truck ! I had a 63 for about 2 months I bought it for 350 it had some nice chrome wheels i bought it because I totaled My 59 ford truck and thought I could swap parts .turned out two of the sparkplug holes needed to be helicoiled and the heads were too thin to accept the procedure I kept popping out the plugs every 200 or 300 miles what a pain LOL I ended up keeping the wheels and tires and selling the bodie and engine to the salvage yard cause I couldn't keep a non running vehical where I lived at the time I put all My efforts into building My 59 and completly rebuilt it in the parking lot within about three weeks working day and night I was just 20 yrs old then
