Anyone SKI???

So, now that the season has officially started for a couple resorts, I'm just curious to see how many of you guys ski/snowboard.
If there are, we should see about getting together sometime.
I just got some new skis-- 2003 Line Darkside's w/ Look P12 titanium bindings :D
Probably wouldn't want to do it until later Nov. or Dec. or later
Just an idea I thought I would throw out there

I snowboard...or did a couple of years ago. I got up to the hill once last year...but thats it. I need to start wroking out, etc...before I hit hills again. i'd love to though maybe in dec

Dom thinks hes a pro skier or something. I've lived in Colorado my whole 24 years and never once gone skiing, go figure.

I live 10 minutes from Loveland, and could ski there or snowboard for free if i wanted. But ive been snowboarding 3 times, and got hauled to the ER 3 times....so I think its not the sport thing for me.....But....could stop by the house on the way up to ski, or on the way back to sit out ski traffic possibly...

I ski, when I can. For the past two years I've been saving to buy a house so I haven't been able to afford many tickets. Lately I've been using the free Eldora pass at my work.

I haven't been for a while, as I had surgery on both of my knees in Feb '02, but prior to that I was up somewhere on my board nearly every weekend.

I'd love to go, but considering I've gotta save a little for x-mas presents for the kids, I don't think a lift ticket would be the smartest investment right now.

I've had a pass the past two years i've been out here, i can hold my own. I'd be interested in heading up this year. Gotta find a cheap ticket though b/c i didn't get a pass this year

I've had passes the last two years as well, but also didn't get one this year. Hopefully we can plan something once the season hits full swing. I'll throw my 2 cents in early on a vote for A-Basin.

I have a Copper/Winter Park pass, but I wouldn't mind paying to go to another place, except Vail case it's so damn expensive.

kind of off topic, but is anyone else going to the SnowSports Expo this coming weekend??
I will probably go on Sunday right when they open cause then I'm going to the Broncos game at 2. Hopefully that'll give me enough time to get some new pants.

If anyone's looking to learn to ski this year *cough*Matt*cough*, I'd be up for going through some lessons again. It's been 12+ years since I've been downhill skiing and the technology has changed so much! I also wouldn't mind trying snowboarding. I'd want to find some killer discounts though, it can be so expensive once you get through with rentals, lift tickets, gas up to the mountains, etc. As for gear, I had some time to kill downtown a couple weeks ago and Gart Sports still had some amazing deals on skis and winter apparel at their ongoing "Sniagrab" sale.

Another thing I'm definitely going to do this winter is XC skiing. It's a great workout and you can go nearly anywhere there's snow without paying! People could also bring their dogs along and let them run off the cabin fever they'll have stored up in another month or so. If anyone's interested in that, let me know...

Die hard snowboarder, if any one is looking for an excuse or a ride I'm your man. I have the colorado pass so I'm always down for Keystone, Breck, or A basin. Hey John, I'll have to drop in on you some time. Going to Loveland thirsday and possably friday if anyone is intrested.
