I know there are some places that will sell you filtered/dewatered WVO. Has anyone heard of such a place here in the Denver area?

Jesse, do you have a filtration/distalation system at your place? It may cost a little bit off the bat, but there are systems you can build for it to filter and so forth on the budget. I assume this is for the Powerstroke?
My neighbor tried with his a couple of years ago and I know Pete, another one of my neighbors (both neighbors are at my folks house of course) runs his Cummins off veggie oil every summer. Next time I'm over I'll ask him what he does.
As far as already filtered stuff, I have no idea where you'd get any of it.

I don't have a filter/de-watering system yet. My brother-in-law has a good set up right now and I helped him install the veggie conversion on his diesel Excursion.
I wanted to go ahead and convert my diesel in the near furture and then when I have the space, build a processing system and start collecting from local resturants. But for right now, I know there are places that will sell you pre-filtered/de-watered WVO for $1.50 - $2.00/gallon. That is a heck of a lot better then $3.85 for diesel right now.

Did you buy the conversion package for the engine or did you build your own tanks and modded it to your truck, I have a bud that did the greeser mod to his old rabbit vw.

I think the more fuel prices rise, things like this are harder and harder to find becuase more and more people start thinking of doing it, in addition to those that have already been doing it for years.

That's the problem I see. I have joked that I need to start a business running a greasy lunch wagon so I have a guarenteed source of veggie.

My BIL bought his kit from a local place in Missouri. I will make my own though after seeing his. My truck is a good canidate for veggie because it already has the dual tank system. I just need to add a heated pickup, filter and maybe swap one of the tanks for a larger one.

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. I can always post up a diagram of how the system works too. It really isn't that complicated.
