I need to let the Bronco go. I can use the money off of it for other things at the moment (tires for the Ranger, misc. stuff with the move) and I don't think I want to invest the time and money into the transmission at this point. 257K miles on it, strong 351W in it, and newish BFG All Terrains (June 06 with 85-90% tread left). So, if anyone is interested or know of anyone looking for a donor vehicle or project vehicle, PM me of call- 303-503-1666

I'm regretting listing it, but I need the money from it and I'm testing the waters as well. I'm going to give it a couple of days and then I may pull it off the market

800 is a steal, and very tempting. You can probably get more by parting it out, but you have to have a place to part it out. My wife wont let me part out any more trucks....

Whats wrong with the transmission? Is it the E4OD?

How do you like the 31's? I have 33's x 12.5. I think they are too big for it without rear gearing. Of course the 351 is weak in mine.

Rev, I know his transmission clutches are shot for all foward gears. Reverse works fine, but all foward gears are gone. They all went at once, but the bronco did have a good amount of miles on the transmission. It is an E40D.

The engine is still pretty strong in his bronco, i was actually surprised how well it ran when we went for a drive in it a few nights before the trans went out, and then also when i was with him and the tranny went out.

Funny you should say that, I had a guy look at it today, offered me $250, and walked away because he said he didn't like the way the engine sounded. The engine runs strong for having a quarter million miles on it, and when the tranny worked it pulled strong.

Rev, unfortunately between my folks place and where I'm moving, I really have no room to part it out. Wish I could, but the reality of it is I can't. Like I replied to James, I'll see if it sells over the weekend. I don't need the money right away and I was just going to put a little extra cash in the bank with it in case something was to happen with my job or crucial with the apartment or what have you.

Mine is a 90 FSB. I need something in the front axle. Its an IFS. Not sure what as I havent torn it apart yet. Mainly cause Im lazy, and its been cold.

My E4OD needs some work, but I dont want to know about it.
