Hey everyone. I just got my 78 F150 ( Grumpy) Bed done by Scott over there. As well he sold me a set of Vent visors for my 06 at a extremely fair price. considering the condition of what Grumpys Bed was in, He did an Excellent job. I would recomend them to anyone that needs a good rhino liner or any Accessories

he has a website and phone number

Lets see some before and afters :). When I had Rhino Lining done on my Explorer (geez has it been this long?) about 8 or 9 years ago and the bedliner in my f-150 that was done before I bought it (and therefore had a voided lifetime warranty, LOL) I wasn't impressed but it's certainly possible it has improved since then.

I didnt even think about a before pic, but that truck is an old work truck, the dents are dings are still there, but the liner is keeping the metal from being rotted away anymore. I will see if I can get pics this week, I think ive mentioned it on other threads but I cant get my computer to communicate with my camera, I believe maybe the PC or the cable is bad. But I will work on it, I know what you mean by not having much faith in spray in bedliners. I learned alot about them today. the surface prep is very important as well as using the proper materials.

you prob wont believe me but on my way home ( after I lefy hypoids house) I noticed there wasnt as much drag on the rear, which I think was due to the rhino liner causing a disturbance in the flow of air across what used to be rusty, yet smooth metal, not its a more uniform bed with small ripples which works to create turbulance, similar to the difference between a ported and polished head vs just ported :rofl2:
I prob get 30 mpg now! and can run in the 11s with just the 2 bbl carb and no N20

Just because of that last post, we are going to start seeing hondas and subarus that are rhino lined instead of painted.

If the rhino lining can help that much just on the exterior of a vehicle to lower drag, imagine what it could do internally for an engine if rhino lining was to be used in place of oil!!

rofl that would be hilarious. you do know if you take your rhino liners texture, and then add the amount it costed to the RT and then subtract them both from your ET youll have your corrected calculation for your 1/4 mile time?

So if i went and borrowed my neighbors justy it would run the 1/4 mile in -102.6778 seconds?

I dont know, never saw her hooters  she was about 5 foot tall sandy blonde hair, cute lil thang. maybe she got new boobs since i knew her. I forgot her name, I think it was Dawn or linda or something like that

I never figured out how to dial in for negative ET but ill let you know, I can ask one of my ricer buddys

I dont know Shawn, i think there are only about 3-4 women in this county with implants, so probally not her lol.. I think she had them installed (rhino lining, not silocone) to compensate for her 20 years of smoking.

I was going to ask 9 second racing about how to dial in for a negative ET, but i guess having a company called 9 second racing, and having every car they built run 13's and 14's put them out of business so ill have to rely on you for the insider ricer scoop ($1 all you can scoop frieeee riceee with soy sauce and a fortune cookie)

never heard of 9 second racing, rofl, did that mean they could put a coffee can on your car in less than 9 seconds? flied lice!!! I dont know many rice racers either just my brother in law, who now owns a 05 mustang :D

($1 all you can scoop frieeee riceee with soy sauce and a fortune cookie) LOOOOOOOO-MEIN!!!!

I noticed there wasnt as much drag on the rear, which I think was due to the rhino liner causing a disturbance in the flow of air across what used to be rusty, yet smooth metal, It's called laminar flow, which is not to be confused with the do-it-ur-self extrusion porting.

With the air trapped in the rino lining creating the laminar flow, all those air molecules rubbing together are going to create more static electricity. You need to install ground straps on Grumpy, or start grounding-out to the pump every time you fuel up.

LOL I will laugh if you just happen to get zapped, but that's just because I think it's highly unlikely.

When I was taking classes at Red Rocks, a lady had something dragging from her car. I stopped to tell her about it, she told me it was a ground strap and that everyone had one where she came from...Russia. First I've seen on a car, but industrial forklifts here have them.

School bus's have them as well. I thought about doing it in my old truck, that thing used to shock the hell out of me every time I got out for some reason.
