The oil pressure would fluctuate. The pressure would drop at idle, and under acceleration it would go up for a short time then drop again. There is knocking under acceleration, and smoke starting to come out of the tailpipes.

My moms expedition with a 5.4 was doing that for about the last 85,000 miles..lol...

Changed the spark plugs on it and oil pressure is fine now at idle, and doesnt drop when cruising down the highway. Wierd coincidence.

Still chatters on cold starts and while driving for a little while, and you can see metal flake in the oil, but its still running after all of that and is pushing 200,000 miles.
