I think I will go through the Springs, where can we meet?

How bout we meet at a Starshmucks at 31st & Colorado ave? Easiest from I25 is............

Take the Cimmaron/Highway 24 exit,
Turn left & head west about 2.5 miles,
Turn right at 31st Street then get in the left lane,
At the light, you'll see it (the Starbucks) across the intersection,
Turn left, then turn right.

Wanna meet up about 8:00? There's a Safeway down the street we can stop at to get some lunch goodies.

Does that sound alright?

I'm actually kinda bummed I can't make this one, even if I had my Bronc running I wouldn't be able to make it with my work schedule. More motavation to get in and try to change it. Regardless, this summer I'll have weekends free, somehow...

It was a fun day all around. What I really enjoyed was..................

Wheeling with people that love to wheel  <---that's what it's all about

The only thing that wasn't pleasant, were my frozen toes. I'll have to wear different boots next time.

Can't wait for the Carnage run this Saturday :)

Update on Larry's winch.

It worked great, I don't know what was up with the XJs winch but it could not pull PB90 up that little hill. Larry's pulled that Sub like it was nothing. I can't wait 'til all 3 of our Rangers are called into duty to pull Jeeps up the hill we all made. Next run we need to be first up to put ourselves in that position. ;)

I need to get some of that synthetic rope for mine.

I don't have a custom bumper or a winch, been winched a couple times. Driver knowlege and experience (which comes with time) and a locker help. I finally brought myself to a locker this winter and am anxcious to use it!

man, i guess i should have went with you guys.
i ended up totally trashing my scout.
on the entrance road to Chinamans i was trying to blast through about a three foot drift. my front end went up on the hard crusty snow and then broke through all the way to the dirt.
resulting carnage is exploded ball joints on the left side and shattered axles and u-joints on both sides.
400 HP 37's and a locker will do that i guess.:D
nothing like getting out and seeing your wheel and tire sitting horizontal in the wheel well.
yeah, it's real fun changing ball joints in three foot deep snow too.
rode with a buddy the rest of the day and had a blast. we made it just past whale rock and turned around due to fading daylight.
