I just heard on the news this morning that he passed away... He was 52...

yeah I heard that too.. pretty sad. He was one person I for some reason invisioned walking some day, with how much he promoted research and everything.

I agree - very sad. I very much wanted to see him walk again be a beacon of hope for the paralyzed everywhere. In some sense, though, I think he still is...

Yes, I think he has touched all the folks that are paralyzed and given them hope in one way or another
