Since i was a kid i always pictured a truck or jeep going over the dam. I dont want to be the one to make that come true..lol
I know its almost impossble, but, id be the one to make it happen.
Im still looking foward to putting chains on the dodge to try and get it out of the garage in a week or 2...

I think, that when the dodge is done, that since i wont have anything to be messing with, maybe ill think about putting a little more cubic inches in the truck, maybe, if i can get the money.
A friend of mine has a 472 BBF, but i dont know that it puts out much more power than my 400, so if i get the time, and he will let me, i might see if we can take it to an engine dyno to see if it would even be worth the $600-$800 worth of parts to swap it into the truck.
And if i end up doing that, then i can put the 400 into the ranchero if i still have it then (which it looks like i probally will, i dunno) the ranchero weighs probally id guess, 4000 pounds, so 1880 less than the truck which if i put 4.10 gears in it, should run 1.5-2.0 seconds faster than the truck did cause of the difference in weight, plus, if i put it in a lighter car i could do the cleveland 4v heads on it which a friend has 2 sets of which breathe better at higher rpm ..lol..Ill just stop now , i need to finish the dodge first.

When i was younger , growing up in georgetown, we used to go over the dam in the summer until a friend hit one of the big rocks at the bottom and split his head open..ugh... I think he broke his arm too..lol

The chevelle was a tenth off of king street teritory..lol...maybe if it didnt have a 100,000+ mile 454 in it, it wouldda made it... 12.81 was the fastest ever in the velle for me, when my stepdad had it before me his 468 was a 12.2 all motor. but that windowed the block too.
4.56 and 454 made it fun off the line with a 26" tire lol
I do like the look of the dash in your pickup..lol...
And i thought you were supposed to air up the flat tires before taking pics from within the cave?

I just need the money to finish my 429, and its all set, Hank will put my bars in for me, I only need about 1500-2000 for the rest of my engine parts and work, plus intake, carb etc etc, I think Brad is going to sell me his old carb because hes looking at Ethanol or methanol. so I hope he wil lgimme a sweet deal on the dominator. I dont want to rush it with that car I made a goal and wil lstick to it, IF ITS THE LAST @#% DAMN THING I DO!!!!:D

Engines suck to blow up, but atleast youll have 2 back ups by the time the stang is up and runnin, just incase.

Well atleast I will have the 460 in my 64, I dont want it to blow up lol. I want to take it out every other season and freshen it up. I guess that will depend on how many passes it makes per season, might be every winter if I win the lottery and can afford to race more than once a month. this is going to be a mild build to run 11.50s

Club clash is just a cool event...no matter what...
Pro et will be fun in a year or 2 in the dodge.
Seriously, this time i think there is only another $500 and the dodge is finished, as long as bill at Front Range cna find me a good used driveshaft and slip yoke, or else its gonna be about $850 till its done.
