Sometimes the stories on the news suprise me. Sometime's I'm just so bewildered that they would bother to comment on certain things, that I feel I have to share.
As you probably heard a tiger escaped at san fransisco zoo, killing one visitor and injuring two others. One of hte headlines on the topic was "Tiger had a history of violent acts".
Now maybe I'm an idiot that doesn't understand zoos like I should, but aren't tigers violent animals in the first place? The fact that a tiger behaves like a tiger shouldn't necessarily be news, I think it'd be more newsworthy if "tame tiger hugs child" or something like that.

Yeah, I heard he was spotted in a bar with seigfried n Roys tiger the night before.
It just goes to show you that locking critters up and forcing them to take those anger management courses doesn't work. They just come out with better skills for criminal acts and are more pumped up from walking all day on those Cesear Millan, animal treadmill's
:)
I think society today spends too much time and effort placing human emotions and human justification toward animals and their acts.
Its a tiger! Saying it has a history of violent acts is like saying politicians have a history of being corrupt.
Its pretty much what they do! (personally, I'd prefer the tiger with the anger issues. The tiger just mauls you. The politician also mauls you, but then it exports your job, tries to sleep with your wife and raises your taxes.)

It must be the video games the tigers where playing the night before!

Lets see, you take a wild animal and put him in a little cage. Nothing to do but figure out how to escape and eat one of those weird looking animals that stare at me all day. Hmmmmm.

Not too unlike the bears and mt lion issues that come up. You here of a rouge bear that kills humans. Come on, you are their pray. What do you expect?

I have a video here somewhere of a Full Grown lion that a woman raised and he gives her hugs when she comes to visit him at the zoo. it looks like he is attacking her but hes just giving her a big ol hug, she raised him until she couldnt keep him at home because he got so big lol il lsee if I can try to upload the video on my you tube account

I guess they shot the tiger because he was doing what he does instinctively, its sad he killed someone, I guess the zoo was found to blame the first time as well when he maulled one of the keepers.
Crazy stuff
