I can't find it but there is a guy who had a 1st Gen Camaro (I believe) and he found an old supercharger (roots style) off of a locamotive and they custom machined intake plates and brackets so that it would mount on to his camaro...I don't believe it ever got run at a track cause just upon starting it up and ideling it would surge so hard that it would want to jump up and snap the belts, brackets and what not...

Hummm, dont know if they will let him run that..lol...
the hood of the dodge would close right over the top of that.

The cool thing about that car is that was mine years ago. I sold it as a roller to a speed shop in Allentown PA when I moved here. I bought it from that speedshop but never finished it. I had a 428 CJ in it but needed the trans to finish. I saw it on ebay for sale and called my old buds and it was the one. I put alot of blood and sweat in it! I started racing motorcycles and it sat for a year or two and when I moved it didn't come with. Ah the good old days.
It is just weird now, should have kept the FE in it.

I agree a 428 would have bene alot better in that car.
That tank engine puts about the same power out as a slightly modified cummins that is running a stock turbo..lol, and is about 3 times the size.
That engine would be cool in a wagon or a tank or something.

Awww, heck, anyone can put that thing in a Mustang. Lets see them squeeze it into a Mini Cooper.
It could star in the next installment of "The fast and the furious... Nome Alaska Drift" Or whatever they're gonna call it. I'm sure they can get Nelly or Julio Iglasias or someone to do a cameo and talk about how much "Nos" the engine can take. :)

If i understand it correctly, the title of the next 'fast and furious' is going to be "The Fast and the furious 'bald tires and big rainstorms make our cars fast'"

I was thinking of taking a bunch of photos over the winter, and releasing a too fast too furious "stuck in a snow drift"
