Barbees Freeway Ford? Opinions, horror stories, anything?

WELL, THE TIME HAS COME... MRS. LEANINTREE HAS LAID DOWN THE LAW AND IT'S TIME FOR A NEW CAR FOR HER. OKOKOKOK... FOR THE RECORD, IT'S NOT EXACTLY LIKE THAT, BUT IT IS TIME.

WE'VE BEEN CHECKING ALL AVAILABLE SOURCES FOR A 98-01 EXPLODER, AND WE'RE SEEING MORE IN OUR PRICE RANGE AT BARBEES FREEWAY FORD. THE WESTERN SLOPE SUCKS, THERES NO COMPETITION WITHIN 50 MILES OF EACH DEALER, SO THE PRICE GOUGING IS GOING TO MAKE IT WORTHWHILE TO GO OVER THE HILL.

THAT SAID, ANYONE WORKED WITH THIS OUTFIT BEFORE? ARE THEY SCAM ARTISTS? STRAIGHT UP? JUNK DEALERS? WHAT???? :?:

You should check out Woodhouse Ford.

They're in NE, but I know they ship vehicles out our way constantly.

I have an uncle who works there, and know they're top notch in customer service. Another family member just traded his SuperCrew sight unseen for a Sport Trac, and they came out, picked up his trade, dropped off his new one, and took off.

Other than that, I can only tell you not to deal with Mike Naughton Ford. They provide no customer service, and don't give a damn about anything but the $$$.

I have only seen the results of some things they have done. One was to put the incorrect AC compressor on this XL that I have. Some time ago, and also put the wrong pulley on it. I prob wouldn't be interested in having them do any work. Just an opinion...

I had a friend a while back that bought a contour SVT from them and got hosed several different ways... At least he felt he did...
