whats going on sunday. i was thinking about going next wednesday.

Fridays, saturdays, and sundays are the real races....wednesday nights are good time trials and good times to tune a car up, the weekends are when the competition happens...

If you go talk to your local cop shop or community cop relations officer usually they can hook up with free tickets to run your car at the CSP test and tunes. If they are asses about it, you have to pay, and i think thats 30 dollars for however many runs.

Nightmare_Customs_Ltd

alright sweet cuz im going to run the 150 and the focus

Just please, do not take a headlight out hahaha...I saw a guy in a stock suburban take a headlight out, thinking it would make him faster, and he still ran 21 second passes

that would have been a 24 second pass with headlamp in :rofl2:

Glass
09-29-2007, 10:21 PM
probobally would have been a 19 second pass if the jackass rabbitbanger didnt ruin the Perfection of the GM SUV aerodynamics. Man, reminds me of a truck i had come into the shop the other day. He had no front grille, headlights, parking lamps, bumper, a fuel cell that was leaking a gallon a minute and said his truck ran like crap since him and his friends set the timing.

I looked at it, the pip was disconnected, so it was running off the initial timing only, and the computer wasnt adding timing due to the PIP being disconnected. I re-connected it for him, and told him to come back if it still didnt run as good as usual.

He never came back. I bet now he has the power for the added 10 lbs of lighting and plastic?

09-29-2007, 10:27 PM
lmao, thats funny right there, i dont care who ya are. speaking of no front ends, I saw a newer stang (03-04) total a nissan sentra. mashed into the side so hard it flung it around and almost hit my truck, rear end was up in the air even, the stang blew both air bags and mashed the front end, wasnt really too badly damaged considering the accident, nissan litterally exploded from one side, glass, plastic, the entire front bumper flew off of it, some of it hit my truck too. the girl driving the nissan had a busted up face, I think her lips and mabye her nose, she was so bloody it was hard to tell, the ones in the mustang came out unscathed

Nightmare_Customs_Ltd
09-29-2007, 10:30 PM
yeah the focus would die in a wreck like that the front is all carbon fiber and fiber glass thank god for trucks

Glass
09-29-2007, 10:30 PM
Lol, unscathed for now, but since they hit the nissan in the side, the mustang driver was at fault. So, no bodily damage, but hes in for some fun legal charges unless the chick in the nissan was 'smoking the pot', hangin out with uncle jack, or an illeagle.

well the nissan was making a left turn on a green and the mustang was going straight through, failure to yeild by the nissan confuscious "say failure to yeild causes brain damage"

I let my stepdad take my truck to work once. He went to walmart, to buy some crap ( see posting in vehicle related section, Walmart does sell crap).

He came out, got in my truck, started backing out of the spot, then CRUNCHHHHH.

A brand new BMW was hauling ass thru the parking lot. Smashed into the rear bumper of my truck. Crumbled the fender on the pass. side, creased the hood up about a foot, broke out driving, parking, and headlights all over the parking spots.

The guy in the BMW flipped out and took off in his car. I looked at my bumper when i got the truck back, and i had a shiney spot on my dirty ass chrome bumper.

WTF! Is this pick on Bobbi weekend?

Y'all just need to start one "pick on Bobbi" thread. That way, when it stops being good natured fun, Matt only has to lock one thread instead of a half-dozen.

On edit: BTW, has anyone been able to look at your truck?

So is the bottom end of your engine knocking, or did replacing the spark plugs and making sure every cylinder was igniting make any of the 'wierd ass' noises go away.

Too bad you couldnt make it to the track today, it was a veryyyy fun day.

In the 2nd round of super Pro a car pulled a wheelstand and when he came down the driverside tie rod end busted and the wheel went 90 degrees to the outside. The driver never noticed, and the car kept going straight down the track. He went all down the track with one front tire facing foward, rotating as it should, and the other front tire dragging sideways cause the tie rod end broke and there was nothing to hold it straight.

He ran a 10.02 at about 135 MPH dragging one front wheel sideways the whole track. It was insane insane----ly awesome. I had never seen anything like that before . When he got out of it at the end of the track and the weight transferred back onto the fornt of the car the car took a SHARP left and the driver did one of the best driving jobs i have ever seen by keeping from stuffing it into the dragster that was right next to him, and by keeping it out of the wall.
