I got in a accident today

Thank god its only cosmetic damnage...

But this ONCE again proves as to why i like OLD trucks and cars.

Only other accident i've been is in my 1982 celica. Trukie just needs a new bed or to have the area cut out and replaced with new sheet metal. There was rust in the spot n e ways which is why I think that part of the bed collapsed.



Oh and if your wondering... Im OK had to take the day off from work...Cause heres the funny part I was on my way already to the chiropracter to get my back fixed from falling outta the bed of my dads truck this weekend.

Atleast you are ok. Atleast it was not the focus or a brand new car and instead an old truck. You want to be carefull with Chevy's, if they get hit on the sides where the fuel tanks are they have been known to catch on fire and blow up (your particular year of truck).

Oh, and if someone want to total Matt's explorer I wouldn't object to towing it to give me something to do! :D

I have fun with tailgaters, they are right on my back bumper, so ill slow down and speed up and al lthat, and when they drive on the yellow i do the same, they dont need to see whats in front of me, or they would back off lmao, and yeah ppl have been driving crazy lately me included! :D

Well i had my gramps look at the truck he has the same year truck cept his is a 4x4 short bed. He fixed some orig problems and found i might had a loose rod and as for the accident damnage.... hes agrees I just need a new box and i will be set to go.

I was gonna replace the box n e ways mine has to much rust in the bed area

Wow! gettin in an accident is a real bummer .Your Ok ,thats great .You'll get over it .So will Your truck .You need some good luck wish I had some buit sorry Im fresh out .I haven't been in an accident but ,I've been having many equipment problems and they just dont seem to quit .ie I just re engineered the suspension on My equipment trailer cause I cracked the frame at the front shackles on both sides .Good news is I gave it a little lift . :).

It has been a strange week for me also. I've been giving a ride to a co-worker, I drive 50 miles/day right now. The idiot ratio per mile is even more noticeable with the increased travel.

I have spent the better part of today hurting. Truth be told I wasn't wearing a seatbelt. My bf was overnighting me some that he found online and they literally showed up 2 hours two late. First thing I did after the wreck was take my truck to my grandfathers (you might remember him soundmaster) he has the zact same truck sept old blue is a short bed and 4x4 he was able to help me fix SOMETHINGS on the truck and point out what else I need to work on.


I installed my new seat belts today. I'm just annoyed. Apparently the guy was caught who ran the red light there were enough witnesses. My friend being the awesome chick she is and a daughter of a judge got the traffic cam pulled. Its pointless to make the guy pay for damn age. The truck was already a beater and all my medical (i went to the docs and chiropractor on Monday) is covered. Im just glad he was caught. Better my truck then a kid on a bike.
