So I remember that you're into Xbox gaming online, and I was wondering what are some good games? I've been a PS2 loyalist ever since the day it was released, but after my second one crapped out on me and they "didn't have another one in all of Texas" :? I gave up and got an Xbox. So far I've only got Madden 2005, and no Xbox live, but I need some new games. I know of Halo, and some of the bigger names that were released for Xbox and PS2, but what are some of the hidden Xbox gems? And how much is Xbox live for a subscription...I don't have high speed internet right now anyways, but I'm just wondering if it's worth it...

We used to play Project Gotham Racing 2 over XBOX Live all the time! It's fun even if your nto the best (and I'm WAY out of practice). Halo 2 is coming out, make sure you reserve your copy early! Theres a lot of fun first person shooters out there.

I recently picked up Fable and so far its proved to be a ton of fun... I'll vouch for PGR2 as well... I also enjoyed Midnight Club II for driving games... Driv3r SUCKED... Links kicks ass if you like golf... I also like Ghost Recon too, another first person shooter...

Oh yeah, and I played a demo of Ninja Gadeon and Riddick, they kicked ass too... I'm about to start playing The Suffering and that so far is just like a horor movie except you get to control your character!!! Its pretty spooky...
Hmm, I'm not sure why I keep missing these posts addressed to me... Anyway, sorry for taking so long Doty!
Xbox Live is great - especially now that the cold weather is coming and it will soon be getting dark around 4pm. I'm not sure of the current rates/renewal fees but you can go to www.xbox.com/live for all the info.
As for games, I'd have to say the one game I feel I've gotten the most hours of play from is Links 2004. Not sure if you enjoy it, but I find video golf both challenging and relaxing (maybe might even enjoy the real thing, never tried it :?). On Live it's also cool to be able to play people from other countries - so far Canada, Australia and England have been represented in games I've played; lots of fun. Tiger Woods 2005 (also on Live) is out now and I'm going to check it out soon.
Other games Heath and Matt have pretty well covered. A friend of mine recently got Star Wars Battlefront and let me play for awhile - seemed pretty cool - similar to Halo. Of course Halo 2 is supposed to be released next month and I'll be sure to get a copy. If money is tight, I'd suggest just saving up for that and some high-speed access and we can all play on Live! :D
