Who among us do the 3,000/5,000 oil change...themself?

Who among us replaces the brake pads...themself?

Who among us changed out the stock headers...themself?

Who among us swapped out one axle for another...themself?

Who among us does most of the work on their truck...themself?

I'm just curious to see of all of us, who really are the gearheads and are not.

Oh come on.... I thought you were going to have a challenge for me...  I can do all that..

Lets see... How about a 2wd to a 4wd conversion? Doing a ring and pinion install? I am currently doing a solid axle swap on my 95 and going away with the IFS and giving the truck another 3 inches of lift in the process, so it will be lifted a total of 12 inches after this with still another 4 inches in the works. I haven't found anything I can't do yet, unless it is alignments but I can still use a tape measure and get that close. I don't have every tool but I do work at a used tool store and he has anything that I have ever needed.. I even have a cavalier that I put a turbo on that is 215hp and 232tq at the wheels on 3 psi and the car runs 14.8s @ 95mph at Bandimere untuned.. So yeah, I guess you can say I am a little gear head..

I can say yes to all of those... I never completely swapped out an axle, but on my explorer I did take apart the front axle and reinstall it when I was reinstalling the lift... good times...
and yup, I've changed out headers too.

Can't say I've done ALL of them to this truck, but whenever possible I do everything myself.

This is the first 'new' vehicle I've owned, so while it's still under warranty and such, I still get any non-routine stuff done by the dealer. But as soon as that runs out, it's all on me once again.

Well, I can do all that... But I really prefer to have friends help me with it because its more fun with friends...

I do all of my own work too. I can't afford to pay someone else to do it.

No one else works on my truck unless theyre showing me how to do something i dont know how to. Its alot more fun to do it myself.

I CAN do a lot of that stuff. However the Oil changes I have done the last few times but my time is worth WAY more then the time it takes for me to do it. From now on someone else does it... LOL :)

I've done them all over the years to my vehicles. Heck I've already started to do mods on my 04 F250 stroker to boot.
