Chris turned in his explorer. he'd been doing some searching of other vehicles, like the Subaru Outback, the Hyundai Santa Fe and some others, but ultimately chose to go with a Ford Escape, so he can stay in the club, LOL.

Yes, I had an excellent deal with Hyundai - they were going to pay ME to drive a Santa Fe. At Subaru, I was invited to sit in on a hot lesbian porno shoot. But - all things considered - I decided to go with an Escape just so that I could stay in RMFTC! :P:D

In all seriousness, I did lease an Escape XLT - "No Boundaries Edition" - today. :D

(Mine is also blue, but darker)

Looks somewhat similar to a Nissan Xterra with the roof rack, but I like it. I'm paying about $150 LESS per month than I was for my Explorer and it's still pretty loaded. 200HP V6, 4x4 (but no low range - of course then it's not really a wheelin' vehicle), 6-disc changer, cruise, AC, power everything, etc.

I'll post some pictures of my own when I get a chance - it was kind of dark when I left the dealership. My next step is to add an RMFTC sticker to the rear window - woo hoo!

Its always fun getting a new vehicle. I'm glad you stuck with Ford, but think of all the fun you could've had with an Excursion. No need for a roof rack. LOL...

Yeah, Niels has a point... Why didn't you get the Excursion... That has enough room to hold all of your Gear...

Haha, yeah. Just what I need - a big-assed Excursion so my gas mileage can be even worse! :D That and the lease payment would probably be around $800/month!

Okay, actual pictures of my Escape. Bear in mind it was raining today so they're not the best. :?

Is it big enough for Matt, since you've been driving him to club meetings.

Okay, while I'm suspecting some of these "congrats" may be less than genuine ( :P ), thanks nonetheless. :D

As for the questions of room, it will be kind of nice to have 4 doors now - gives greater flexibility for many things. And yes, Matt even fits inside! It has more headroom than my Explorer did and possibly more leg room too; but you'll have to ask Matt about that one...

Where did you take the pics???

That's actually just a parking lot near Waterton Canyon. Wanted somewhere that looked a bit nicer than a paved lot though...

I still think you should have gotten the Excursion!!! A PSD would have gotten in the high teens for mileage...

Yeah it had more head room. As far as leg room, well, tough to say there. Will need a bit more riding time tog et used to it.

Lemme guess, cory, mud? :D

Thanks for the compliment on the color Mntsnow, I like how it can look lighter/darker depending on the lighting...
