HELP ME PLEASE, I don't want to pay as much as computer shops charge. Sheeeeeesh, it's more then mechanix charge to fix your car. Anybody know computers more then me PLEASE HELP ME.

Yes I'm begging and crying.

Just give me 1 reason why I should switch from DSL to Comcast, Just 1.
Damn DSL is the reason I have problems in the first place. FU Qwest DSL!

I know a little bit about computers but not enough to fix strangers PC's, I'm always worried I'll screw something up even worse! LOL.

I'd love to help, but realistically have absolutely no time. I leave for work at 5:30a, and don't get home until about 11:30p (on a good night).

And in one week I'll have a new baby to keep me up at least half of the 4 hours I currently have for sleeping.

Hopefully Jake can get you hooked up.

I got 1 fixed, it was a virus. A guy at work told me what spyware and virus protection to run and I switched from IE to Mozilla Firefox for my ISP. It works like a charm. Found and cleaned the virus. The other system I think has to be completely restored. It's f'd up.

Glad to hear you have one up and running now atleast. If in the future you need to ask a question that is computer related and need help fairly quickly you might check out one of my websites I run called XtremePcCentral (http://www.xtremepccentral.com)

There are several 'must have' pgms that you may want to get. Most are free.

Spybot, CWShredder, Spyware blaster, Ad-Aware. I would also suggest AVG anti virus. It is free and all updates are free also. It is very good. (I will not run any Symantec products on my mahines ever again.) I build my own, and do all the software installations.

The only advantage of Comcast over DSL is speed. Comcast is about 2 - 3 times faster. Let me know if I can email you any of these programs.
