FINALLY! i've been approved for a mortgage and now I need a house, lol! The trick is, finding a decent one within my $110,000 limit! So, I am asking the members here in CO Springs for help. If you have one for sale or know of one, please let me know! I'm really sick of renting!

Thank you!

Congratulations!!

This would have been easier 8 years ago when prices where in that range...

What size house? Sq Footage? Stay out of the new stuff, they are all 200+. It might be easier out east like on Curtis Road or further I forget what they call those...Not manufactured homes.... Maybe down by Colorado College you might find something.

Have you thought about a HUD home? I know, they are usually not in the best neighborhoods, but you could use it as a stepping stone. Fix it up, pay it off quick and sell it for a better one. Just a thought.

Dev dont forget a back yard for your mutt and a huge garge for the men... the rest the house is just for sleeping and storing stuff.

RevT: the houses out east are mostly manufactured, which I can't get seeing as I'm getting an FHA loan/mortgage. The stuff my realtor has been finding so far is mostly south end of town, but they're some decent houses

Ray: FHA breaks your idea, too. they won't loan on a HUD or foreclosed home, trust me, that was the first thought in my mind, too, lol

Bobbi: :P tha dog stays in tha garage to gaurd my new pinto from would-be thieves! lmao

Down south aint bad, I like that area just south of the Airport, Security and Widefield. Some nice little houses down there.

I just know that all the Mil folks buy up on Powers/Consitution Stetson hills all in that area and they are expensive, no yard, and are built shitty.

Stay away from a Pulte built home.
