Good luck. I've tried a few times to find the route going through Alice, but there are many trails in the area and each time I've gotten lost. The last time I think I may have been going in the right direction, but I came across a truck that was abandoned on the trail and no driver in sight.

I found it on the map. No wonder one can get in a big loop. I'm going to give it a try next weekend. Thanks for the help.

Whatever you do, dont get out of your truck and go on the glacier....everythings fine till the wind blows, then youre screwed.....Ive seen people falling cause of wind gusts, and i have friends who have pulled more than a handful of injured people off that glacier....be careful, and if youre lookin for someone to trail with, im 15 mins from the St.Marys exit off of I-70...i dont have anything planned ...yet....so lemme know, worst case, truck will be down for some more repairs....

 Just like i always do, i had multiple things to choose from doing this weekend, and set it up to go down to Bandimere on Sunday. One of our family friends has cancer, and well.....might be the last year he sees any of us race. He seems to enjoy watching, so im deffinently going to go. But, maybe another time? Im sure youll like it up here in Clear Creek County, pleanty of trails...everywhere....thanks for the offer, and hope you stay safe, and have fun....
Ohhhh, and a word of advice, since your new to this, remember your wheelbase, or youll get stuck, like i did trying to take my truck up and over a dirtbike jump, and something i go by when wheeling alone..if i cant step over it, im not going to try n' drive over it...

I went up there. Wasn't bad at all. There were about 50 - 60 college age kids camping Sat night. It hailed on them. There was even an all wheel drive Pexus that went up there. It was cold and windy.
The I went to the start of the Mount Saxton trail. Looking forward to all of this. Should get my new tires tomorrow.
Thanks.
