Dragon Mans out on Curtis Road/Hwy 94, 10 bucks for all day. Otherwise you have to go up Garden of the Gods to this little shit hole of a free public range with a bunch of idiots...

Well if the shoe fits....LOL

I used to shoot there a few years ago, back in 2001. For free I wasnt complaining, however over time I ran into people that I didnt like up there. There was no range master, and people would actually shoot as I went down range to fix my targets, AFTER I checked to make sure no one was shooting.

So I just wont go back.

I highly doubt it was any one on this list, but if so we need to talk...

just go during the week when no-one else is there...you can have the whole place to urself and do some really fun shooting aka tactical style: set up targets and walk through a mini-shoot house.

That is the key for Rampart Range. Never go on a weekend, holiday, or friday.
I have been there when it is a Zoo and never had problems with other shooters but do not expect the people on the middle range to stop shooting if you are walking out on the 100 yard range. I never set anythign up so I just used the leftover crap for my targets.
