Tomorrow is the "big day" sorta

I'm getting my tattoo done! After several months of pondering it, changing the design slightly, adding parts, removing others, verifying translations with multiple sources, tomorrow I am actually going "under the needle" as it were. Wish me luck, I've heard under the arm is a pain but we'll find out! Heres approximately what it looks like...

Roughly translated, this means "A dog is your best friend for life, even when they leave, they are still there". Another translation is soulmate rather then being there for you.
If you can't tell I love dogs. Some had some stuff to say about the chinese, and its not that I want to be oriental or anything, but I think there language is absolutely beautifal, english is boring and I didn't want it on my body, I think Chinese writing is like a work of art in every charachter :).

Tattoos are fun, when i got mine i was watching the Drew Carey Show and laughing my ass off.....that was a crazy night though, i bought 3 of my friends tatts also, have fun, and make sure you take good care o' it.

Well the tattoo didn't happen... spent about 3 hours trying to get it lined up and sized right but it wasn't happenin, so we're gonna give it a whirl tomorrow.

Yeah, I felt pretty sorry for Matt sitting there as the guy tried time and again to get the tattoo pattern lined up. Finally - after about 8 attempts - the night was called...

Well, five hours in the tattoo chair, about 2-3 hours of it in excrutiating pain, and its all done, looks awesome. I'm sure Chris will be around with pics later.

Wow, that was quite an event! Matt is either a very brave person who follows through with something once he sets his mind to it...or he's a masochistic dumbass. :P

I don't know if everyone fully comprehends the information below, but Matt spent 5 hours nearly non-stop with a tattoo needle in his arm! LOL. That's like watching 2 feature-length movies! Anyway, I think his tattoo looks pretty cool and he seems to be happy with it. Here are some much awaited pictures from the day:

ahh, good times, good times. Well sort of, the pain was unbelievable for some parts of it, other times it felt not too bad, but its done now, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

Well I was slightly hunched over in that picture, my gut isnt quite that big. We were working in the guys basement, and he had a little bar down there, but the ceiling was about 6' 4" and I'm about 6' 8".

Actually Matt, there's no reason to make excuses. It has just come to my attention that the picture on page 1 is a FAKE! It was e-mailed to me from a Kinkos in Lakewood - I should've known better. The ACTUAL picture is below. I know it's real because I went so far as to have it authenticated by experts who work for CBS News!
