I might have to go check it out. Screw the balljoints and bald tires.

I did not realize poker was that night. If somebody else wants to go with us and also play poker, we can change the trail ride to a later date. As for me playing poker, I'll pass. I've never played before.

How hard are these trails?

Could my 01 F-150 screw with pretty much totally stock suspension (rancho RS9000 shocks) handle it or would it be iffy?

ive never been there but i dont see why your truck couldnt do it but we are pushing back a few weeks because of work " and two front tires" but i have herd it's rocky and maybe can cause some damage but im still not sure .

I don't think it will be a problem, but had heard Coney Flats had some boulders along the trail that may cause some challenges for the longer wheel base vehicles.

Cory actually makes a nice post, then screws up by being an ass like usual.

me an ass thats unheard of (so i think) but any who im looking for more of a challenge thats all after all slaughterhouse was ok.

My ole stock Explorer may not like that one. I'm thinking about the St Vrain and the Caribou Creek though. I have done the Crystal Mt in it however. What do you think?

Hey cory,
your video doesn't want to work for me.

I read Walking Eagles/ your write up on slaughterhouse, and it sounds like a lot of fun. You have 35" tires right? Did you make it through pretty easy?

Cory and I work at the same place and we've been pretty busy the past week and will continue to be busy until early November. So I'm not sure when he will see this, but I'll answer for him since I followed him through the trail.

Yes, he does have 35's and he made it pretty easily. I only recall one time where he tried to climb a rock ledge while going up a steep incline, but could not get the front tires to grab the rock and he had to go around.

I tried the link above for the video and it worked for me. It uses RealOne Player to show the video. There is no sound, because I've never gotten around to fixing my sound card on my computer.

Here's where you can download a free copy of the player if you do not already have it on your computer.

St. Vrain doesn't seem too bad, but I think Coney Flats would be way out of my league.

I don't think my truck would like this:

Keep me updated on when y'all plan on running it. If you guys could run St. Vrain then Coney, I'd be in. Except for the 2nd and 4th weekends of November, my schedule is open.

The way I understand the trails is that St. Vrain needs to be done first, because Coney Flats connects towards the end of St. Vrain. So in that case it will work.

I'd take my truck through there, and it is easily twice as long as that Jeep. It doesn't look too bad. I don't know if it gets any rougher though.

Not tomorrow. We don't have a date set. It's now going to be after the election.

I was talking with Cory and we are shooting for the 20th of November. It's the third weekend of November, the day before our Toys for Tots event scheduled on Sunday the 21st.
