Lets see... Five years ago... I believe I was slowly climbing out of one of Dante's circles of hell but I can't remember which one. Of course, in this world we call it "Marriage and Divorce" but you know the saying... organic rose furtilizer by any other name would smell... Well yeah. The funny part about this pic... to me at least isn't Matt hiding out off camera. Look at the people sitting in the audience... Then look closely at the benches they are sitting on. they all look pretty sturdy. Now look at the bench the woman in the purple dress is sitting on. Yup! Theres a joke there. But if I post it she may be justified in hunting me down... :) Happy anniversary! Here's to many more.

Pretty quiet this morning... Since yesterday was Mrs. Leantree and I's 5th anniversary, so dinner out, and a bit of a special suprise...

5yrs ago when we got hitched, my coworkers in Germany sent a bottle of wine for a wedding gift. Rather than cracking it then, I vowed to keep it until our 5yr.

So yesterday I told the wife "Lets go to the local rib joint (that kicks ass BTW) for dinner". What she didn't know is that I took that bottle with me to work, got off a bit early and ran down there to make an 'arrangement' with the manager. He served the wine moments after the food had arrived. The look on the Mrs. face was priceless... the bottle was pretty distinctive (since we'd been holding onto it for 5 years, and I don't see a lot of bottles with a brass monkey molded into it).
