It's got all kinds of awesome features, the most basic of which is it reads your OBD-2 codes! In addition to that, you can track your gas mileage, trip information, and lots of other awesome stuff! mine should be here in a week or two, though it won't be able ot be installed until, of course, the truck is back from the shop! :). Once I get it I'm going to write a little bit about it, but from the looks of it and the features and so forth, I don't think I'll be disappointed!

Let me guess, that was free too. Too bad it doesn't show egt's and boost pressure or tranny temp. I'll wait until I can get a programmer and real gauges. Of course thats about $700 total vs. $100.

Nothing in life comes without a price, my good man.

Looks good to me. Too bad it doesn't let you change tire size info.

yeah, this doesn't change anythign witht he computer, so its not like a chip or anything, its just reads what the computer is saying and makes it conveniently readable, etc. The superchip will take care of the tire size change... :)

You don't have to worry about the tire size change. I don't, as long as I'm in front of the other cars, I'm winning.

I was checking out the site. It looks like a cool thing to have. I've never heard of it before. How did you come across this item?

Jeff, that I cannot reveal, insider sources :).
Actually I was thinking of maybe once I figure it out and write something for it, yada yada, I might loan it out to people and see what they think of it, assuming I get it back! LOL.

He's not allowed to say who "gave" it to him, but he is required to "mention" it here. LOL...

:laughing1:
Actually I heard about it on f150online, someone on there was talking about it. Looked like a cool product so I contacted them about it.

I'm seriously considering this product. I like the idea of reading the codes. The price is not bad.

yeah, for what you get, $100 aint too shabby. Hell I paid $90 for my code-reader and I thought that was cheap, and all it does is read codes!

The programmer I want reads, explains and erases codes, allows to calibrate speedo for tire size, and reprograms the pcm for power with real world test results of 4mpg gain on medium power setting. All for under $400. Now if I could just get a job. LOL..

I went ahead and ordered one. Should be here Monday or Tuesday.

So far this company has been easy to deal with. I talked to them yesterday and ordered one. They sent me a tracking number last night. It'll be here Tuesday. So far so good. Hopefully this will help with my continuous check engine light problem I've had these past few months. After adding parts, it'll be nice to see what the new codes are saying after parts are changed, instead of running back to Autozone each time.

And if it doesn't work, you can shove it under your tire next time you get stuck.

It arrived yesterday, but I've not had a chance to mess with it. I can't wait to see what it tells me about my check engine light.

I plugged the Scanguage in at lunch today and it told me I should have bought a Chevy.

Hmm doesn't sound like something mine would say! LOL.
I used mine this weekend to pull my check engine code, worked great! :)

Actually I was a dumbass. I went to check the codes and it said there were two codes, but I cleared the check engine light after I saw the first code. I never saw the second code.

I'm surprised how easy it is to use.
