Bigiron, if your wife makes food and all I'm sure we'll chip in, no need for you to front the cost of our food, thanks for offering her services though! :).
I'll bring the poker chips!

I'm still planning on this :). Got my chips all ready to go! I've found its good to discuss the "guidelines" before hand so theres little confusion...
The way I had figured, and if anyone isn't cool with this let me know... but it allows for $20 to last a whole night typically...
$20 buy-in which gets you $20 worth of chips. Blacks are $1, blues are 25 cents, reds are dimes, and whites are nickels.
We start out with 5 cent/10 cent small blind/big blind and we will occasionally increase the blind to 10cent/20 cents, 25 cents/50 cents, 50 cents/dollar, etc. If you run out of chips, typically we'll allow you to buy in unless it starts getting too late.
We can all agree on a time where if we're still going, we can just cash everyone out or if anyone has a good reason to cash out early, they can do so (none of this I had a really good ahnd so I'm cashing out and taking off crap! LOL).
LOL, good points Matt. We found out during one of our poker nights how important it is to make sure the "rules" are set out in advance and everyone agrees to them. :P

Yeah I dont mind. Its good to have beginners sometimes... Chris and I were beginners too, not to long ago, LOL.
its good to have rules set out so no one goes home whining thinking they were taken advantage of or cheated or anything. We're all friends and no ones gonna cheat anyone else...

I've emailed Bigiron, so we'll try to get some directions. If all else fails, i can host it, but my one-bedroom just doesn't have the space to cut it, unless it can't be avoided.

I'd like to hang out and play poker with the guys but I need to save up so I can get a new set of leaf springs in the back end. The stock set doesn't really work with the 3.5" lift that is on the front  . Don't ask me, thats what the guy before me did.

Rob, feel free to come hang out even if you don't play. Courtney won't be playing either.

I was going to swap front axels for Bigiron, he had to go to Washington for two weeks and he was to call me when he got back. It has now been three weeks. I hope everything is going all right for him.

If for some reason bigiron can't host it, we can do it at my apartment. it's not the biggest area, but it'll work. I've got plenty of chairs and Chris offered to bring a table, and I've got hte chips and cards already.

The fact that we celebrated my parents' b-days (mom on 6th, dad on 16th) was probably a good thing as I don't have $20.00 to donate to whomever may have won. It would'nt have been me.
