Hopefully around the same time as the lift kit, tires, gears, etc. goes on, I will be getting a new superchip. It's a 4-mode chip, formerly known as a "flip-chip", that will be custom programmed to take into account the headers, cats, open exhaust, FIPK, gears, tire size, etc. and will correct the speedometer while giving me more power and better shift points. The cool thing about a 4-mode is you literally have 4 custom programs in the same chip, one that gives you a smaller amount of HP increase, but allows you to run low-grade gas, one for balls to the wall, ax performance (but lowest gas mileage), one for towing, and one for better performance, that would require you to run premium gas but give you better mileage then the "balls to the wall" program. All four programs take into account the engine mods and gear/tire changes to correct my speedometer and shift points.
Pretty neat little item I'm getting from Troyer Performance. I've been working with Mike Troyer since 98 when I bought a bunch of parts for my old truck from him, and hes definately a reliable guy and really knows his stuff. He even talked me nto gong to 4.56 instead of 4.10, saying my mileage would actually be better with 4.56, I'm all for that! Check out his website, www.troyerperformance.com

Matt, I think I mentioned before that you make me SICK!!!! LOL... Sounds pretty sweet. One of these days I'll have decent income and can continue with my wish list. I'm making good contacts too. In fact I just got back from getting new track tires for the Benz. What would have cost me $211.00 per tire on-line ended running me $346.00 for four tires mounted and balanced.

yeah, contacts are good :). I figured the cost of the chip into my project budget, because I was going to have to recalibrate the speedometer anyways, and its actually cheaper to buy a chip with custom programming to take into account the speedometer then it is to have the speedometer corrected manually.

are you saying you dont like the idea of a chip or something, Jeff? LOL.
Actually I had a superchip before, but it wasn't custom so it was basically the same as having no chip.

No, I was letting everyone know I started to feel nauseous yesterday and wanted to share the experience.

all i could find for "Gorgia" in an internet search was in some other language, and something some philosopher refered to alot....But, lets not get off the subject of headinjuries and computer reliance for everyday needs.....thats whats important here. Whenever i want to boost my performance, i just pull over, re jet and rod my carb, outrun the ricer, and then try to remember how i had it set up before, sounds like you might have it figured out here Matt.

I took it as a joke too... but I guess I can see how you could take it to be rude.

Either I'm really dense, or the lack of sleep is getting to me, because I don't get it.

The joke was, Courtney is from Georgia. Courtney occasionally likes to say "Random!" which is what I said in my post about Jeff being pukey. Heath made the joke about how I'm not from Georgia so I shouldn't say that.

Thanks for the clarification, because I thought I missed something.
