Ok gang, we've all got a long weekend coming up over labor day, so we really ought to go drive SOMETHING. I missed Saxon, I missed the camping trip, I missed "Jeff knocks himself unconcious on Slaughterhouse"....dammit, when do I get to drive?

Anyway, Susie and I were thinking of heading north toward the wyoming border and camping around Medicine Bow National or Wemuniche wilderness and trekking around up there..BUT if there was a club trip, say, and I would get to wheel with you guys, then plans might change.

So, anyone want to propose a trail run this weekend or accompany us camping? :?:

I was planning on doing some more 4 wheeling this weekend, but I've have not felt too good the past couple of days. I even missed work Monday and Tuesday which is unusual.

I've also found out trying to post questions or answers on different forums tonight, I'm having trouble spelling and concentrating. It's a weird feeling, but I feel like I'm intoxicated without the beer.

Jeff, thats how ive felt since i got hit in the head with a line drive while playing baseball when i was 11 or so....eat tuna, and drink V8, or go to the doctor....especially after the Slaughterhouse scare....tell them what happened, and see if they have any guesses....

Jeff, I wonder if you might have suffered a slight concussion when you hit your head. I got one when I was younger playing hockey when I slid head-first into a wall with no helmet. Hmm maybe that explains other things too. LOL. But yeah a doctor might be a good person to see about that. FYI, when I got my concussion, I was very nausious (sp?) for several days, throwing up a few times the first day, and just wasn't "all there" for several days. It eventually healed itself though, the body is an amazing thing.
As far as wheeling or whatever, unfortunately my dads out of town and my truck is still in teh shop, so I will have now heeling vehicle this weekend... I might even be getting a tattoo this weekend (maybe, very small maybe), but Courtney was wanting to go up Mt. Evans for another sunrise one of the mornings so if anyone wants to go with your certainly welcome to.

Sounds like a concssion to me as well. I've had a few. Comes with being a student of the school of hard knocks. If you still feel bad by Friday morning I would go to the doctor. As for wheeling this weekend, I've got previous plans. DOH...

What do they do for you at the doc about a concussion?

I've had plenty, and they never did anything more than tell me someone had to wake me up every two hours.

Other than the head twitch I don't think I have any lingering effects.

If it is a concussion the doc can't do much, but he can verify what the problem is, and make sure it isn't something else.

OK, i've given myself several mild concusions (sp?) before, but nothing that had 5 + day effects... you have got to get that check out man!

No wheeling for you until you get a clean bill of health.
