Howdy. what year of trucks would the 3/4 tone axels fit under my 1/2 ton 77? its 4x4. I want to convert it over to a 3/4 ton. everybody tells me to buy a new truck but i love my truck. its one of those that grows on ya and you cant let go. and anyone know where i might find a 3/4 ton for parts thats less than $200? thanx

If you are wanting to stay with your dana 44 Just change the nuckles and braking hardware to the F250's I think you need the parts from 77-79 F250's. The rear end you will have to get a dana 60 or a GM14 Bolt you can pick these up for 100-250 depending on how fast people would like to get rid off them, but I would us a GM 14 bolt they are usually cheaper and are just as bullet proof as the d60. If you have any more questions about the dana 44 upgrade look up flat top knuckles on google that is the type of knuckles you need for the conversion.
