Had a '75 Hodaka 100 as my first bike (has anyone ever heard of a Hodaka?) What a piece of crap (http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/125746/), but it was a learning experience. No wonder they went out of business.

I started riding motorcycles before I could ride a bike, about 3 years old, was bout 1974, always had a bike my entire life, one kind or another, even worked in a motorcycle dealership in high school in parts dept, I finally sold all of them about 7 years ago, I really do miss not having a bike to get on and go for a ride now and then. I just dont have the space anymore with everything else I have going on, its just one less money pit for me, mabye when I get a larger pad ill go buy a brand new one, the last ones I had were 80 kz 440 ltd with 3000 miles on it, and 89 Katana 750
really would like a ducati monster, heck I dont even know if they are making them anymore :dontknow:

Fun bike; if I lay over the tank and stuck my head between the handelbars it would go 90mph. Sit up straight and I'd be doing 55 in a split second. I almost traded it for a bigger bike, a few weeks later I over-revved, a few weeks after that the plant I was employed at shut down.

I just bought a 1999 XR600R(sorry had to let Warrlord see it first)on Sat. 3/3/07. I need to practice before I call myself a real rider though. Heres a pic of the new bike...............

yup I could run 70 mph on it on I70 at eisenhower tunnel, as long as I was running the downhill side, lol Great bike for getting around town

Oh, I love taking my "hog" out on the open road! Putting on my chaps(stick) and Harley leathers. (Ok, maybe its just a wallet) Then I unhook the charger, put a fresh bottle of Evian in the holder and Born To Be Wild on the headphones, put my feet together on the platform and hit the road! :)I have an 05 Black Tiger electric scooter. Needs new batteries but its fun to putz around the neighborhood on.

I have an 80 Honda CX500 that I picked up for $150 couple of years ago, got a new gas tank off ebay, cleaned out the carbs, and put a new battery in it and had rode it for the last couple of years. Nothing too fancy, plenty fast for me, cheap, and gets me around.
