I know it's only February, but I thought I'd bring it up early. Are we planning a Chinaman Camping Trip this year? Or am I just on crack or something?

Yeah, we'll do another Annual RMFTC Chinamans Trail Run/Camping Trip again.
I was gonna make a post about it next month for the first or second weekend in June.
Initial plans will be.........Everybody meet at the camping spot on a Friday. We'll run the trail on Saturday then I'll do another BBQ after the run again.
I'll have an official thread about it in a couple weeks.

Red Cone is a blast, one of my favorite trails in colorado. Don't think my low-rider could take it though LOL.

I'd feel comfortable trying redcone, yet the last part with the shale freaks the shit outta me, when i was up on webster, there was a scout that lost all of its electrical (including electric brakes) on redcone... looked like that K5 on Lyons Back in moab only without the rollover.
Larry, Sorry, I didn't mean to steal any thunder bro, i was just wondering if it was still on this summer... hadn't heard anything about it. Spoke too soon.

Are there any trips being thought up sooner.....like in Spring itself? Come on. I'm making final steps on my SAS and I need an excuse to "hit the hills". Plus, the high country hasn't seen the snow we have, most trails should be fairly passable for all that would attend. And, ratchet straps, and chains can still make most trucks capable.

I'll be up for some wheeling here soon. I'd go now, but too many projects happening at once.

How's about somebody picking a trail run in the next several weeks up around ya'lls area? I'd definetly drive up your way for a trail run on a weekend except for Saturday, March 3rd (I have to work that day)
Around here, I'd suggest Eagle Rock/Saran Wrap. Still quite a bit of snow up there right now but doable with good off road type tires (and maybe a tow strap or two) :D

Later next month might be better for Eagle Rock/Saran Wrap, but if your going let me know(I feel a test run coming up)......
