because the company I work for is sending me down to Colorado Springs quite frequently. Well today I popped into the north office I normally work out of to pick up some supplies and I find out that I am supposed to turn in a milage report; ah the things they never tell me until it is past due. Well I just finished tabulating and recording the miles in the company truck and then just for kicks figured out how much I also did in my truck driving to the office. Well for the month of January I logged about 850 miles of commuting and there were at least 6 days I did not work due to weather/lack of work to do. February is going to be even better since I am going to hit 700 miles this week:eek:
And to think I moved up to denver to reduce the amount of time I spent driving to work:rolleyes:
So how many do you log every month?

Back when I lived in Littleton and worked in Westminster/Boulder, I used to reach 3000 miles in 6 weeks to 2 months.

For work I currently do about 150 a week for work. The truck does have 170,000 miles that I've put on it while working at the same place for the last 8 1/2 years.
Last week I found out the company will probably be moving down near Centennial airport in about 10 months. I live in Westminster and I've figured it will be about 350 a week. I'm not too happy. It will add considerable time in traffic.

LOL Heck no. I got a hyundai Sonata. 28 mpg versus about 8-9 mpg in the bko. Sometimes I do it in the expedition but its at least 19 mpg.

RevTBoy do I feel special! My work is literally a couple miles down the valley. If we are down to one car, I air up the bicycle tires; it's all downhill in the morning.
P.S. I don't wear a helmet.:headbanger:

I must be real lazy... I work 3 blocks from my house. It takes 5 minutes to walk to work for me. However, I would rather go out and let my truck warm up for 5-10 minutes to drive maybe 3 minutes then to spend 5 minutes walking.. LOL Or when the weather is nice I will drive my tractor to work. I get some real funny looks from people when they see someone cruising 25-30mph on a riding lawn mower. :glasses10:

I do about 12-15 miles each way from SE Aurora to downtown, so its not too bad. Better than my 2 hour+ 60 mile commute in DC each day.

Tara and I do about 30-35 miles round trip per day... Usually we can carpool, but some days we have to take two cars... Like today... Honesty I kind of like the days we take two cars... I get to pull the beloved Q45 out of the garage on those days... :D

Heath - m driving a Toyota Marino....little 4 door i got for $450 from a friend...
i am still weighing my options to buy a RHD supra or skyline and import it for 10,000. would be nice to have a car that stands out, but on the other hand, im not big into the ricer-culture, and enjoy the classic cars more.
