Hey guys, I'm new here but sent an email to Matt asking if it was ok to tell your club/forum of our new business in Denver.
My name is Alex Leedham and I have brought GatorHyde spray-in bedliners to Denver. Gatorhyde is a Premium Hot High Pressure Lifetime Gauranteed Spray-in Bedliner.
I would like to offer any member a professional sprayed-in GatorHyde bedliner at $329.99, long bed or short bed...doesn't matter! That is big savings over our competitors. Our everyday low price is $389.99.
Gatorhyde of Denver is a Premium Spray-in Bedliner company and my shop is the 46th dealership within the GatorHyde network. We are not new to the spray-in bedliner business, just new to Colorado and the Denver area. You can look at the company web site at www.Gatorhyde.com (http://www.gatorhyde.com/). Everyone has heard of other two bedliner companies, but what GatorHyde has to offer is something to take notice of! Our product is made in the USA and has superior qualities, and carries an unconditional Lifetime warranty. It is applied hot, with high pressure! Our Polyurea-Polyurethane blend is delivered from a Graco EXP-1 professional machine, dries in 3-6 seconds, and comes out looking awesome. With superior UV qualities and a lifetime warranty GatorHyde is the bedliner of choice.
GatorHyde of Denver is actually located in Northglenn, exit 104th off I25. Any questions please give me a call. We are slated to open Dec 1st and are currently booking appointments and will actually be spraying pre-opening trucks at an even lower price after November 20th. Our shop has just been set up and we are soon ready to rock and roll. Give us a call, come by and chat. I look forward to hearing from all you Ford Truck guys!
Thanks, Alex Leedham
and...

Are you able to spray accessories as well as beds? For example I have my roll-bar Line-X'ed and know its a great way to make things look better as well as keeping it rust-free/scratch free LOL.
GatorHydeofDenver

Yes, we can and will spray anything. All accessories. Can even go over rusted chrome nerf bars and make them look brand new again. GatorHyde Can even be applied over an old spray-in liner. We have a 16 foot wide x 16 foot long x 10 foot high spray booth. GatorHyde adhears to Steel, Wood, Fiberglass, Cement! We do Snowmobile trailers, horse trailers, boat trailers and more. Our company was selected to do the World's largest spray-on project...the San Mateo Bridge! Why? Because it's great stuff, made right here in the USA and a great price! Thanks for asking! Anyone wanting a company brochure just PM or Email me your address and I will put it in the mail for you.

If I remember right I saw this stuff at the SEMA show two years back (though there were lots of different bedliner options and I can't remember all of them) and it looked pretty good. I've been thinking of having my rockers done and pretending I'm a real four-wheeler, but too poor right now... LOL.

"GatorHyde Can even be applied over an old spray-in liner"
I wont be splurging anytime soon but I was curious, does this mean it could go over my crappy Herculiner application? ;)
GatorHydeofDenver
11-13-2006, 09:23 AM
Yes, GatorHyde just was at the recent SEMA show and has been there previously also.
Oh. just stop by or call and I'll do your rockers at a ridculiously low price.
Yes we can scuff that Hercu stuff up and apply our Super Prime and go right over it. No one will ever know you had that thing in there.
A few years back I tested another Do-it-yourself liner and in the end, it was thin and crappy. I hated it.

Yeah, but I think the question people here and on the explorer forum want to know is: How easy is it to remove from a hootus? :)

An old story from the explorer forum... guy is using herculiner, somehow gets some on his dangly-doo, wonders how to get it off. Story makes forums nationwide and worldwide, all of a sudden this guy is getting calls from chinese news stations, womens jeep groups are sending him interesting emails, etc.

I have a question, I've been debating on doing a spray in on the interior of my Bronco (not 100% sure i wanna do it to it if i were to get a trail rig) and I was looking to go with Line- X because they don't turn white after a year like Rhino liner... question i'm asking is does your spray in have the same issues as Rhino Liner or did you guys surcome that and compete with Line X at that same level?

Our material is made in our plant in Tulsa, OK and has the highest UV properties of any bedliner out there. To say that bedlliners don't fade would be a lie. Gatorhyde controls our material because it is made for us and only for us, and consquently because we make our own material there is no middleman mark-up. That means a USA made spray-in bedliner Lifetime warranteed and 100 dollars less expensive to the truck owner! The LNX competitor you mentioned buys their material made by BASF. Not sure who makes RNO's stuff, maybe DOW CORNING, don't really know. LNX is hot high pressure applied. so is ours. RNO is cold, low pressure. I will not bash any competitor, just will say our material is top notch, everyone loves it once they see it, and there is a big saving to the truck owner!
Thanks again for your questions and for all you guys support, allowing me to introduce myself. I look forward to meeting any of you that would like to stop by. Oh...and no ours will not turn white after a year...we have the highest amount of UV stable properties in our formula!!!
Alex
I could have bought any spray-in dealership/franchise I wanted. I went with GatorHyde after months and months of research and after touring their plant in Tulsa, OK. Truly one first class operation that I am proud to be a part of.

Yeah the Rhino in my bed turned an ugly brown after about a year, and the Rhino dealer said since the original owner of the truck not me applied it, the warranty was void as soon as he sold it. Lifetime warranty my ass. I ended up covering it with a bedrug which has been working just fine for what I use it for... might let ya know on the rockers after you open for business though! Right now I've got a bunch of sponsors stickers on there and since the vehicle is no longer truly sponsored I wouldn't mind takin em off, btu I'm sure I'm gonna scratch the paint a bit when I do.

Gatorhyde will not do that, so that is really not even an issue.
I should tell you guys, GatorHyde was presented to the John Elway Dealership network here in Denver and after seeing the material and hearing all about it, they signed up with GatorHyde. Why....cause it's great stuff at a great price!
Matt when you are ready bring your truck in. I'll scuff those stickers right off and shoot the rockers with the good stuff....and no it won't turn brown. I'll make you a super "get the word out" Gator deal!

Quick question not to knock your product but how long have you been with the company, and have you seen your product after a year of wear on a real truck? Like i said no harm here i just want to know
GatorHydeofDenver

Honestly, I have been with the company for 3 months, prior to signing on with them I called about 12, of their up and running dealerships, asking all the questions a "would Be" investor would ask. ie. "how do you like the company, what do you think of the product, any problems" all those type questions. Every dealership said nothing but outstanding comments, product is great, company stands behind you and the products, service great.....they all told me that. Then I flew down to Tulsa and went through there training program. Sprayed a number of Trucks while I was there, learned all about the equipment and after a fairly large chunck of change I am nearly ready to spray trucks.
When I was in Tulsa they had a truck there that had been sprayed 3 years ago. Have to say the liner looked very nice!
My equipment arrives tomorrow and after the set-up on Thrusday I am spraying my truck this Friday the 17th.
Thanks for asking and any interest you guys might have!

Its going in my truck on Friday and will go in the all my trucks from now on. I am not trying to hustle you guys just excited about an option for all truck owners in the Denver area that saves truck owners money.
The big two, you know who they are, are heavily advertised...and l you know someone has to pay for the advertising....ahhhh....and that would be the end user or Truck owner. So Gatorhyde gives a money saving option. Thanks again for reading and any interest you might have in GatorHyde.

Just a real quick few questions. Do you spray undercarriages? and if so, how much needs to be removed? I have my interior stripped and did herculiner on the full interior sheetmetal (rust prevention and minimal sound deadening)and am now covering the herculiner in dynamat extreme. I was planning on doing the undercarriage in either herculiner, lizardskin (I think that's the name) or just regular spray on undercoating. If your liner can be applied withminimal teardown I'd like to know a ballpark idea of what it would cost and what would need to be removed to do it. Thanks.

Anything can be sprayed...it's just a question of being able to get to it and making sure it is clean for adhesion. Truthfully, your best bet on the undercarriage is an undercoating type material. Also I don't have a lift in my booth so that would make it tough to spray laying on my back.
My shop is now fully funtional and I sprayed my truck today. Can't tell you how awesome it came out. My truck is bright yellow and with the shiney new black GatorHyde liner...whoa!!!! It looks good. Got home today and a guy with an F150 made an appointment for Monday. Said he had been researching for weeks and came down to the conclusion...GatorHyde was to best bedliner for his brand new F150!
Thanks again guys for allowing me to tell you about GatorHyde!

Alex,
Does Gator Hyde do colors as well or just black at this time???
GatorHydeofDenver
11-20-2006, 05:06 PM
They do colors...but colors are not UV stable and it requires I flush my whole system....kind of a pain. The black is awesome...kind of a shiny almost sparkles. So....no colors for me for a while, while I get familiar with the equipment. F150 got sprayed today...came out fantastic!!!

Yeah I'm planning on having the rockers sprayed and possibly the nerfs as well. My old nerfs were line-x'ed until I went iwth the double-bend nerf bars. I like the sprayed look.

You can click on "Photo Gallery" and post em there. Would be interested to see how they look. My truck is currently "done" but still at my parents house so not sure when I'm going to be able to drop it off, living an hour and a half away makes it a bit complicated :).

Welcome to the club! :hello:
And Dang too bad for me I already did my inner fender wells on my 64 and then grumpy got his rhino done last winter. I might have some more stuff to do on it later as I work my way back to the bed itself. I am cutting the floor out in place will get something besides metal, but havent decided on the insides of the bed walls
Question. I work with coatings myself with UV protectants as well. and I know for a Fact anything with an oil based polyurethane will fade out, bleach or damage specific products from UV rays. so how does Gatorliner protect the polyeurethane from this? All of our products are Water based due to the fact oil polys arent ad durable and have a shorter lifespan and slower dry times as well will be illegal in our trade (Hardwood flooring) soon enough.
Reason I ask is because I am really curious in this because it baffles my mind with the products on the market these days and ow they work. alot of our products have been used in the automotive industry since the 1920s and 1930s, pretty much any wheel you see on a car truck, tractor etc etc has been coated with the same products made by our supplier
oh I dont get stuff on my hootus because I wear proper attire :D
sorry for the long reply. I just woke up and had 2 cups of coffee
oh Damn this is an old thread, I just got thrown a curveball

x2, I have the exact same question. I probably would not be able to do it until later in the fall.
