I need to have the heads rebuilt first , then I will add a Lunati VooDoo cam, My Weiand intake and holley Pro-Jection and tin off of my old 302......
Oh yeah I forgot to mention this 302 is bored 60 over. When I pulled the heads off to measure the bore its stamped right on top of the new pistons---060-----........:headbanger:

i ordered a Lunati VooDoo, .466"/.483lift, 250/256 degree,idle to 5k cam/lifter kit for it today. Also got a new engine bolt kit and gasket kit coming. as soon as McCabe Motorsports comes back to work I will get the heads rebuilt for it. Maybe a month or 2 out from being done......:thumbsup:

that sounds like a killer cam, with that much lift u gona run solid lifters? just a thought. one thing for sure ur ranger wont be underpowered no more.

I just dropped off the heads at McCabes and he said my heads were 68's with the small chamber and only one stud kind of bothered him. He was gonna tear them down and get me a price for parts, so maybe only a couple of weeks and that bad boy will be ready to stuff in the Ranger.......

Lunatil voodoo cams work very good with holley carbs and a weiand intake...The projection should run pretty damn good on it too...i love voodoo cams..even though ive never used one

I finally got to start tearing into the block and found out it already has roller lifters in it. The VooDoo cam I ordered is hydraulic lifters. Time to get a hold of my engine builder and see if I should send my cam back and get a roller cam......
