Now that I got your attention, my 98 F-150 is leaking on the passenger side, near the front axel. Could this be from the A/C, because all other fluid levels look good and the gauges on the dash are in their normal operating positions. I did have the A/C on and it did look like water. But it was enough for my neighbor who was following me, to pull up next to me and let me know.

I know when I'm running my ac it drips enough to make a small puddle and will even hit the exhaust and sometimes make me wonder. I would say it was just your ac, but I'm no mechanic. Just my 2cents.

can you tell if its water or something? I know my truck leaks a lot, especially when Im running the A/C, sometimes even when I'm not. Seems to just be something F-150's tend to do :).

I'm pretty sure it was water. I also think it was the a/c. This happened Monday night, and everything still seems to work fine.

One time when I was in Vegas, I was running my A/C and it was fairly humid, etc. and I got out of the truck and within about a minute I had a puddle going on underneath the truck. If it disappears without any residue, its just water, and thats ok.

I'm going with A/C too... Thats common Jeff... Even if it is the A/C it dosen't mean its leaking, its just the condensation... Were you running the A/C just prior to seeing this??? If so thats where my $$$ would be...
