He thinks he grew some balls, and voted against me in a management decision this afternoon.

All I'm going to say at this point.

Let the war begin bitch.

Yeah!!! You tell 'em! It was a perfectly good management decision to change the uniforms. And the new color is SALMON!!! Not pink. And the hooters shorts are a functional part of the uniform due to the heat in the shop. :)
I'm perfectly willing to throw my opinion in where it doesn't belong, but what's the argument about? We gotta know what the circumstances are before we can stick our noses where it doesn't belong and choose sides.
Seriously, lets settle this properly in the Jello pit. :)

Today, he tried to use a magic marker on my face. I was able to fight him off.

Later, he used shipping tape and taped me to my fawking chair. I had both arms taped down to my sides and he went all the way around me and the chair. I was able to reach into my pocket, got a hold of my knife and cut my way out after a few minutes. The tape pulled a lot of hair off my arms.

Sounds like quite the adventure, McGyver. Would've been more impressive if the knife in your pocket was like a stick of gum or something.

A machine operator was hired at the beginning of August. His application said there would be no problem working evenings and weekends when needed.

First, I don't think his machine operator skills were that great to begin with.

Second, he never could stay late or work on the weekends. He always had different excuses.

In the middle of October, the owner of the company told him he needed to get his head on straight, and if he really wants to work here still then come back in a few weeks and we will see.

He came back. The owner of the company let everybody do a silent vote to decide if he should come back. I loudly said no and let everybody know my opinion. It turns out I was the only one that voted no.

I think he had a negative impact on the company. Everytime he left early for whatever reason, everybody else who stayed late would bitch and say it's not fair. Or ask why he does not have to work on the weekend. These same people voted yes to bring him back.

I will say, when he did and did not work, does not affect Cory or myself. We are not part of production.

Walking Eagle

Our company is very politically incorrect. People who don't "fit in", usually are gone in a couple of months. We wear our opinions on our sleeves, we tell each other what we think, swear and yell at each other, then come back the next day for more. The Christmas parties and some birthday parties are too x-rated for this site. :D

So whats your job, break it down for me, i looked at the site but it kinda left me lost

Walking Eagle
11-19-2006, 12:35 PM
My main focus is quality control. I'm responsible for taking a look at the finished job, doing radom checks to make sure the printing looks good, make sure production did not insert two different billing statements into one envelope, weight verifying that if the claim they are mailing 50,000 pieces of mail that there really is 50,000 pieces of mail (allowed 1% error), and the paperwork for the post office is correctly filled out.

It was a spur of the moment thing. I walked outside, happened to see a bucket of snow, and Cory happened to be there. I had not really made up mind to do it, but then he threatened and told me not to do it, so I did. :D

Of course I ended up with a ton of snow stuffed down my shirt. But it was fun non the less.

see thats funny stuff right there, the snow bucket thing, too boring, everyone uses that. i'll use this for example, the other day at work, one of the guys there was celebrating his birthday and parked out where 2 people that we work with always park and took up both of their places, well they proceded to box him in, got me in on the whole thing and i boxed his driver door so he couldnt get in and left it there with a note that stated "checkmate!" the early stages of doing stuff to people thats hilarious

The asshole sprayed adhesive on my right arm from the elbow to my finger tips. I've had to go about 6 hours without using the bathroom since he got my right hand. So far I've tried the soap that comes in the orange container several times and I've bathed in thinner which is slowly working. The skin is tight, but feels oily.

We are primarily a mail house with an emphasis towards the more complicated stuff. We do billing statements, invoicing, medical statements, political campaigns, etc. We also use mapping software to track underground gas pipelines nationwide and work with oil companies to help them fulfill government requirements on letting residents know the pipelines are in their area such as the "Call Before You Dig" program.

We have done work for Frederick Printing.

Hey, you two asshats are coming to the BBQ this weekend right... It just wouldn't be a truck event without Jeff standing on the side making sure not to say more than 6 words the whole time... Don't forget, Cory's gotta come too so that he can fix the truck to get Jeff home too... You two are like Icon's of the events now...
