Day trip

Im sitting here bored out of my mind looking at "Kung Pow" just wanted to ask if anybodys in the same boat like me and wanna take a day trail that will have me back in denver by like 6 p.m. if so thats great if not i quess i still have my oldschool movies....:popcorn:

If I hadn't been working I would have jumped at the chance let us know if you feel the same soon .If I have the time and recorces I'd probly take you up on a run for the day .Somewhere'sa close by Maby Rampart?:thumbsup:

saxon is usually a good day trip, just gotta have advanced notice as to when to do it. i usually work tuesday thru saturday so through the week its tough for me to get away, but i'm always looking to go

Ok then what about a day trip this sunday to saxon i dont know where it is but if soundmaster is down to go well thats the answer, or if anybody know of a cool trip this sunday, lets pack up an go I wanna go play in my truck...

sorry sound i went up to kelly flats today it was fun, but the hunters was really out there doing there thing, so i kinda had to watch them while tryin to play, this time at least i didnt go crazy and drive down hartattack hill...

Well i was bored again so i took a day trip up to kelly flats damn i was a blast i went all around those hills, but didnt go crazy an mess up like last time a drove down hartattack hill, something that my heart cant handle again, it was cool kelly fltas have changed some though it looks like there have been alot of changes made to the trail so that you can bypass alot of the trails more challenging areas i was kinda upset about alot of it but as always seeing hartattack hill made it all worth it, im thinking about even going up there again 2-morrow. OOOh an before i forget let me tell ya about the crazy sh*t i did see up there somehow there as some guys camping in kelly flats in a camper, now if you have ever been there you would know 1st. hand that theres no way to get a big truck let along a camper but some how they did it an i was like WOW those guys rock :eek: :headbanger: :headbang:

:thumbsup: its up on exit 269 up I-25 its a cool place damn fun, i want to go back up there today but me an soundmaster decided to go play at that spot on missippi below buckly AFB, at 11 because he has to be back in town at 4pm. cool trip out at Buckley i had fun an my truck went down with a flat but i got the hook up an i was back on the road, another strange thing happend the pos. terminal broke but we got that workin also so fun fun fun i will post the pics of our day in a bit, also a short movie stuck in the mudd

Fun fun times out at buckley, started the day out going through a mud puddle that i didnt expect to be so deep, water came up over the hood and shortted a misc. wire out, drained my battery, so we limped over to Chris's house (1 EYE) and charged it up, removed the wire and i was back on the road. Did to a little front end damage (chris i don't know if you took a look at it or not) and lost my front license plate, but its life. I am a little timid with mudding since i am in no financial state for fixing what i break in mudding, crawling i dunno bout yet, we shall see. All in all it was an excelent trip and we also met some pretty cool guys who were down there as well

Ahhhh, "the Pit", fun place! I have friends that live near-by, heard a lot of stories from them. I know they tell a few about me. LOL

One of the stories I've heard is that a farmer used to dig a trench to dispose of cow manure. When it was time for a new trench, he would push a layer of dirt over the mostly full one. Not that big a deal until there is a lot of precipitation, then the manure holds water while the layer of dirt on top drys out enough to look solid.

Lotta good times out there. Did the city finally make it a OHV park? I remember the "No trespassing" signs never stayed up very long. :rolleyes: But that's another story...

HELL YEAH... the pics that we got of me are the run i got myself really stuck on, simply because i high centered in the middle. The Dodge in the pic's is one of the other guys who joined us down there and we kinda all met up and played around in the mud all together
