Seems we've got some new folks coming on board here lately that we haven't had the pleasure of meeting as part of our "old" group. So this might be a good way to start. Feel free to post whatever about yourself you want. (and if you feel like going in depth, write a profile and I'll post it! http://rmftc.com/profiles.html)
My name is Matt, I'm 24, and I live in Littleton. Had Ford Trucks/SUV's solid since I was 16, gone through 4 of them now. Holding on to this one for a while though, since I'm spending all this money upgrading it LOL.
My birthday is June 4th, 1980.
If anyone ever wants to reach my, I'm not shy about my contact info... mattadams@rmftc.com or 303-868-8265.
So lets hear a little blurb about you! :)
My name is Travis, and I'm a modaholic. It's been 34 days since my last confession.............
Oh sorry. Wrong forum.
My name is Travis, I'm a Gemini, I like long walks on the beach..........
Ooops wrong one again.
Anyway, my name is Travis, most people I associate with call me Tray, I'm 26, work 2 jobs, and spend the rest of my very rare time with the kids, so I rarely get to hang with the group, but that will change once things catch up.
Best way to contact me is via email - travis_jensen@yahoo.com. The cell phone doesn't get reception at my day job, and I'm not allowed to answer it with customers around at my night job, so it's not even worth giving out.

I like to frolic with sheep.
Yeah, that's a great way to scare off any new members.

I'm Sarah, I'll be 20 in November.
This is my second Ford, first truck. I had a 2001 Mustang GT 5speed that I autocrossed when I went to school in Texas. Didn't think a RWD sports car would fare very well in the snow, so I sold it and got the truck.
I'm working on my vet tech certification right now (fulltime student). For fun I like to auto/rallycross, hang out with friends, read, and drink good beer. I've lived in Colorado for 6 months, and went to Texas A&M when I lived in Texas.
I've been engaged for 5 months and am getting married in just shy of a year. My fiance and I like to spend all our money on mods for our WRX, so the truck gets kind of neglected, but I don't care because the WRX is more fun to drive anyway. :P
And I have a cat named Stewie. I think her bowels are an undiscovered gateway to hell due to the stenches emanating from her box whenever she takes a crap.
Wow, an undiscovered gateway to hell? That must be some litter box! And nevermind Jeff frolicking with sheep - it's his way.
I'm Chris - one of the "old fogies" of the group at age 30 (it still feels strange typing that number, LOL). Anyway, I have an Explorer Sport for about another month - then will be getting either an Escape or some other 4x4-type vehicle depending on a number of factors. My current mission is to get everyone on RMFTC on a bicycle! Okay, that'll probably never happen but at least I've made a good start with Matt. I ride both mountain and road bikes and - as of this Saturday night - will have completed three organized rides totalling 120 miles.
My occupation is TV/video producer and I run my own production company. Heath, from this very club, works with me as well. RMFTC is a great group of people and I'm proud to be a member of the staff...

I've got Chris beat by four years, so he can quit crying now. My name is Niels, I'm a full time student that has been under-employed or unemployed for almost a year now. This is my 3rd ford truck, 1st being a 92 ranger, then a 96 f-150. I guess that means my next one will be a f-350. I also have an 86 Mercedes 190e 2.3-16 that I take to the track whenever I can, autocross seems to be too regulated for my taste so I stick to open track time. Hope to meet up with everybody sometime soon.

This is my first Ford, and seems to be the only one I need. All my money goes into it, might not look like it , but i assure you, it does..mostly in gas though. My music taste is punk and rock.. ..and i Have a Mastif, and a husky at home.

Well... My name is Bob, I like carving aliens out of blocks of wood. I also like drinking windex...
Okay, pretty much everyone here knows me... I'm Heath, I'm commonly known as the troublmaker of the group. I'm the smartass... I'm the one that takes the obsticles on the trail even though my truck has no business going that way (but its getting better)... Matt and Chris and I used to be the three idiots that were always hanging out together until Qwest transfered me to Idaho!!! Its true I do also work with Chris doing sales for Mountain Media, it was a lot easier when I lived there, but we're still at it... My explorer is my first Ford truck and to this date my favorite vehicle...
Not sure what else to say...

My name is Dave (Daddy-Dave). I have most of you younguns beat (age wise) .. I'm 34... a husband (for 4 years now) and a Daddy (hence the name daddy-dave) for 2 years.
Family first is how I live - I love my wife and kid and can't seem to get enough of either one of them!
This is my second Ford Vehicle (2001 F150 SuperCrew) and it's awesome! My first was a 1971 Bronco .. that thing was a TANK! (I want another one that I can rebuild... but don't tell Nate - it'll be his when he's old enough to drive!)
I'm currently working as a POS Program Manager/Trainer and like what I do ... it pays the bills and lets me play on the weekends!
I'm glad I found this group ( and Chris .. I'll join you on a bike as soon as home projects die down a bit! )
what else?
sheep .. mmmm ... sheeeep!
beer, mods, camping.. oh yeah .. and beer

Your sheep does look good, atleast you didnt let her put the makeup on herself, while driving , and talking on the cell phone, and eating lunch, while checking her daytimer, and trying to figure out a map. But have you seen some of the truckers driving around lately...i mean those guys...they have upwards of 200 sheep in thier trucks..but they are all trashy. I guess some guys are just into quanity rather than quality...I bet half of em would look pretty good cleaned up and shaven....Some nice comfy wool sweaters too for winter thats comin up.

Hey everyone, my name is Brian, and I've lived in Colorado my whole life. I'm really new to the FTW & RMFTC scene. I've been a long time Jeep owner and am expanded my horizons into the FULL size world. The birth of my second son forced the sell of my beloved Jeep and I got the 2001 Expy. Hence that is why I'm here now.
A little about me: I'm 32, married, 2 boys(3 1/2 yrs & 4 mo.) been a professional firefigher for 10 years. I decided last year I want to persue owning my own business so I started selling Jeep parts. www.rockymtnjeepers.com is my website. I still am a firefighter because it pays the benefits.
Now that I'm into the truck scene I'm expanding into selling aftermarket parts and accessories. Lift kits, lowering kits, wheels, tires, winches, flares, interior, exterior, etc...... I will be adding a link to truck parts off my website. In the mean time if you need a part shoot me a emial and I can see what I can get.

Hello All...
My name is Ryan Penner, I am 25 or something like that...
I have 3 Ford Vehicles right now, a 92 Ford Exporer 2-door that is sitting in the garage and hasn't really been run since we bought our house. I have a 95 Ford F150 that is my daily driver. It's nothing special but a long bed regular cab 2wd. I also have a 97 Explorer XLT 4-door. That one is the wifes... :)
I am sure all of you are asking why did I just let the the "toy" just sit in the garage for over a year??? Well that is a good question with a lot of long answers. The reality is I don't know just lost some intrest in it for a while.
We live in Longmont CO where we bought this a year and half ago and are loving home ownership already! Having to get a backyard going has been GREAT fun.... LOL
I am married have 3 Step Girls, and now knocked up the wife and have another on the way... :)
I currently build high-end custom european cabinetry and have been in the construction feild for the last year to escape from the computer industry. However they seem to have the same type of problems keeping companies and work going as the computer biz. The one plus is I am on my feet all day and don't have to sit at a desk all day. :) At least I like it, it keeps me in shape!
Not to much else to say really.... Oh out of everyone on this board I have probably known Matt the longest... LOL

I'm Ryan, and I'm 17.
I have a 94 Explorer that I like to take offroad and work on.
I am a senior at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock. I play on the football team-- starting offensive left guard
We are starting the drive to STATE!!! :D
I obviously live with my parents, and I have a dog named Hunter.
Oh yeah, my family is all about Fords  -- 2000 Excursion, 1994 Explorer, 1994 Mercury (Ford) Grand Marquis, and a 1969 Mustang fastback w/ 351 Windsor

I'm brand new to the forum and this is my first postings. Sounds like most of you are young pups as I'm 40. I purchased a Ford for the first time and went with the smaller truck, the F350... I seriously thought about the F450, but will probably be the next one.
I live in Canon City and commute to work in Littleton each weekend in the ER there. My current passion is adding toys to my truck and camper. The only thing I've done under the hood is a Pro-guard 7 intake system and will be putting the 4 or 5 inch stainless exhaust on next and a full set of gauges. Now that the camper is almost done I'll probably start doing that soon. Lastest mod to camper is a 22" flat screen DVD monitor for after work and play viewing. Camping will never be the same! Kegerator coming soon...
If there are any diesel heads out there, pop me a pm.

08-17-2004, 12:30 PM
I guess I should get into the action! As long as there are no sandwhiches with Heath and Jeff...I'm fine. I put that in my contract when I signed up for this!
My name is of course Rob...if you couldn't tell by the screen name...can we not read? Moron! I'm 26 years of age going on 10 with a mental capacity of a 2 year old. You might not think this now (thank you for your hopes), but once you meet me, you will understand. This is my second ford that I've owned. As some of you know me from (caugh and speaking under his breath) FTW, I used to have a F-150...the great lifted V-6 that it was...ok I'm over it. Now I've got this vehicle called a Bronco...which is one fun vehicle. I thought I could have fun with that little red Honda I used to own...OH NO, I was wrong! Starting the beast and hear the loud sound of true duals blasting out from the 302 (which is the engine size not my SAT score) while watching all of my neighborhood turn on their lights at 4:30 in the morning when I'm leaving for work. As I step on the gas and watch that little ol' 8 gallon tank gauge quickly hit "E". Oh and for our younger crowd... a "Bronco" is what Ford had as a truck before the "Explorer" and the type of vehicle "SUV" came out...I know its hard to see that in your pee-on minds since the farthest back you can think of is N'Sync and Backstreet boys where the first boy bands. Great our lifes are going to be in great hands when one of these become president....shoot me know!
I live in the yuppies side of denver also known as Highlands Ranch. As a friend of mine (yes I have a couple of friends) said about Highlands Ranch people..."their just mean!" In this part of town you are known as one of two things: Los Angles wannabes or Los Angles rejects. Or me...I just don't care for either and just run them over daily. Working at Starshmucks and serving these yuppies drinks I've learned somethings. One, I'll never stup to their level and "B" they are easliy manituplated into doing what you want them to do. Bunch of idiots!
If you're ever in my area of town (which I hope for your sake you're not) stop by my shop and I'll serve you up a drink. I'll make sure to tell my co-works that you don't need any "additives" in your drink.
Well I think I've insulted enough of you, told you too much about myself and wasted a couple mintues of your time and mine which I'll never get back...thanks! So stop picking your butt's...thats what the spouse is for!

Well I guess I might as well bump this back up to the top....
Hi.. My real name is Mike but most people who know me call me Snow or some such thing due to me living for the winter months most of the time. I love snowmobiling and most years put 1500 to 2500 miles on sleds mainly boondocking and highmarking in the back country of Utah.
I grew up in Price Utah where my father still lives on our ranch. Started driving Fords with a '87 Ford F-150 and then a '97 F-250 and now my '04 F-250 Crewcab SB 6.0L Turbo Diesel that I just love. Anyways the family has just shy of 5000 acres of mountain ground just north of Price Utah were we summer our cattle during the warm season and get to play on during the cold winter months :)

Im shootin for 12.5 and a daily driver out of my 53'. Hoping to get it from smallblock too, but i might go to an FE if i get discouraged this year at all, and dont want to pop money up for it right away.
11.75 would be fun too... cant wait till next season

well, I have had the 65 Mustang apart for 12 years now. S L O W ground up rebuild. 6000 bucks just in the motor. I should get around 400 hp out of it, the car weighs about 2200 pounds. So with 4.11's 11.75 shoud lbe gettable.
As for Ranger, I have had him for 8 years, 3 days, and a couple hours. And I have been doing stuff little by little.

it is a 2001 350 diesel w/noted mods and a heavy B & W bed
Glass
12-02-2004, 09:56 PM
Im just gonna say the mods probobally are thrown off by the weight added by the bed, them things are pretty heavy.I dont know what it will run, but I urge you to come out next year to Bandimere Speedway in Morrison for Both all Ford Day, and Truckfest 2005
All timeslips i could find for that year and diesel, were between 15.2 and 18.000. ( between sea level and 3000 ft)
But it all depends on what you do to the truck, how you do it, and so on...just tun it one day..its pretty fun, even if youre slow..lol..like i am

well shows what I know, next to John I thought I was one of the youngest here. (I'm 21) I'm the one that thinks running his F350 PSD on cooking oil is a good Idea, but I'm feel good when someone asks me what the price of petro diesel is and I have no cule, I don't even look any more.
new to the club I met Matt at ACC in a marketing class that I'm shure I failed but such is life. I think Neils signature fits me well.
made it short as possibale, just saying hi to every one
-Marty-
Well, this makes you think you could get it down to 11.5 or so.

Welcome to the club Jared. I've heard that the 350 in that video has a twin turbo cummins of some sort or another in it. I believe it is from a marine application, but whatever it is, its sweet!

Been a while since I last posted, but wanted to let you all know I'm still alive and kicking...just been working my ass off lately (6 days a week for 3 of the 4 weeks of every month  ) but anyway:
My name is John Michalik (pronounced mah-hall-lick) and I'm 22 years old. I live about 15-20 minutes Northwest of Denver, up in Arvada. My birthday is September 7th, 1982. I'm also very, VERY single (which sucks A LOT :( )
My Current truck is a 1996 Ford Ranger Splash, that's yellow in color. This is the first Ford I've personally owned, and so far I'm loving it. I had to Chevys before this one. A 1994 Chevrolet 1500 2WD, and a 1976 Chevrolet k10 Scottsdale that was beefed up. I really didn't want to get a Ranger, but my dad pushed me to buy this one because he thought it was "cool" and "original", so he finally convinced me to buy it. Like I said, I loove the thing now, it's been a joy, and hasn't given me any trouble mechanically, and drives wonderfully through snow and mud. I'm actually saving up some money to buy me a PowerStroke in another year or so, so that I can retire the Ranger as a daily driver, and customize the crap out of it.
Oh and I like Taco Bell and McDonalds.....A LOT....so much that all the McDs and Taco Bells near me know me by my first name, even without my mechanic jacket on :P
For those that haven't seen my truck yet, here is the thread I stated a while ago with the photos: http://rmftc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=536

well i guess i better throw my intro into the thread as well, ive kinda just been lurking around the boards reading a bunch of the threads, looks like a pretty awesome club you guys have goin here.
anyways, my name is Zeb and im 19. Im currently going to school at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, but whenever im not doin the school thing living here im up at my house in Littleton.
my current ford is a 1993 Bronco XLT, got it back in november 03. its the nice 'OJ' White, and unfortunately stock :( whenever i get the money i wanna lift it 2 or 4 inches and do all the necessary mods that go with that. My previous truck was a 1986 F150 XLT. this thing had so many problems(it was in a car wreck :() but it still ran like a champ most of the time(summers were very tough on it). i love my Bronco and intend to keep it for as long as humanly possible, but sometimes i really hate it because of the gas mileage
i'm working on getting some pics thrown up on the web somewhere, hopefully that'll get done when i move back home for the break.
