I'm currently at work, waiting for a couple of people in the front office so I can do what I need to do. I start thinking to myself, what the hell is taking so long? I'll be here until midnight doing my part. I go look and all of the lights are off in the front offices.

I call one person on her cell phone asking where did she go? She replies, oh I'm at home. I ask when did you leave? She says, we left about 40 minutes ago, decided to finish tomorrow.

Nobody fawking told me.

If you need help with the bag of dog poop, just let me know. Roxy could fill up a grocery bag in about two days, your standard paper lunch bag in about half a day... lol.

I'm probably working to midnight tonight, and I'm a little gun shy. I keep checking the front office to make sure they are still there.

No, we don't do much "junk" mail. The two jobs last night I was helping with were monthly bank statements for a credit union and the other was medical statements.

I would say 75% of what we do involves statements or credit card information of some sort. Could be bank statements, store credit cards, season ticket statements for sports franchises, medical information, etc.

Anyways, off to work I go.

We use to do tons of political mailings for the last seven years, but we've changed our focus to more high end type work. We still do work for one of the national political committee's fund raising campaigns, but that is something that we do almost everyday all year, not just for the upcoming election.

Yes, it's been another long day. I'm here at work and it just dawned on me, I went to lunch 12 hours ago. I'm supposed to be back here at 8:30 am, but I don't know when I'm leaving. Maybe, I'll be early to work for once and stay here.

Yeah, no kidding! Of course, I've pulled many an "all-nighter" to meet a deadline and can't really blame my boss (being self-employed)... ;)

i wouldnt be complaining about overtime, though actually working sucks.... i swear there has to be a job where you sit around and do nothing and get paid to sit around, goof off, and do nothing...

So..............Jeff..................Are you gonna run Saxon with us or are you gonna be working?

We're leaving work now, but I don't think I can make it in the morning. These last three days are catching up with me. I think we're going to head for Central City around noon. Plus, I have not had a chance to get my tire fixed from a few days ago, and don't have a spare. If I was to get a flat on Saxon with no spare, I don't think I could live with the humiliation.

And no, Cory and I don't work weekends. We leave that to production. I would rather work 70 hours during the week and still get two days off. If I'm already at work, I would rather just stay and finish. The tough part for me is waking up. Friday morning was tough. Cory called me a little after 8 to find out where I was this morning, and of course he woke me up. I had a hell of a time making complete rational sentences. Anyways I was only an hour late to work.

wow, at least there is no one who can get mad at me for showing up to work late.(also self employed). but then again the old saying still holds true for the self employed... to double your money u have to double your work.
