Well Tool (favorite band of all-time) is playing tonight in denver. This will be my third time this year. I went out to coachella in southern california, then in may at the temple buell in denver. Figured we could share some concert experiences. Good or bad.........

I haven't been to a concert in a LONG time. I think the last concert I went to was Iron Maiden when they played at Macnichols arena.
Want a good laugh? The first concert I went to was Tiffany.
Yeah, I know... I rarely admit that outside of a confession booth or torture chamber. But hey, she was ok back in jr. high. Late 1980's... hanging out in the basement, listening to Too Short or EasyE... Dreaming about torid threesomes with Tiffany and Debbie Gibson... Um... yeah, I really needed to be medicated back then. :)

I went to see New Kids on the block when I was like 9... up until last year, it was the most recent concert I went to :).

I've been to one... George Strait... I enjoyed it... Faith Hill opened for him... She wore a tight leather outfit... I remember saying "Damn she's hot" who is she thought... Well we all know now don't we...

Last concert I went to was Eddie Money. It was earlier this year. He's old (so am I) but his voice hasn't changed. Sounds like he did back in the 80's. It was enjoyable.

When I use to listen to country, I probably was at that concert. Either way I know I saw both of them, plus about 20 other country concerts in the early to mid 90's. Use to go up to Cheyenne Frontier Days, Greeley Stampede, and Fiddler's Green.

I stopped listening to country about 8 years ago, and have not been to a concert since.

Why no more country??? Its not a daily thing for me, never has been... But I do like some of the stuff...

No real reason. For some reason I started listening to heavy metal/ hard rock.

I've always been a huge country fan. Nothin' better than a little George Strait

My concert-going lately has been very eclectic. And I think I've seen more shows since I met Amy than in all the years previous (having a musician for a fiancee will do that, I guess!).

Among the shows I've seen within the past year:

Maroon 5
Sonia Dada
Hothouse Flowers
Rebirth Brass Band (holy crap they rocked the house!)
North Mississippi Allstars
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Rob Zombie and Lacuna Coil (opening act)

Later in September I get to see a group I've always wanted to: Barenaked Ladies! :)

I like Rob Zombie and I don't mind looking at naked ladies.
