My truck is covered with tree sap from sitting under the tree. I need to get it off as the hood and roof are terrible. I thought I heard that a clay bar works well for taking it off. Does anyone have any recomendations on what will work? I got a nice long weekend and would like to clean up the truck.

Should come off with soapy water and a little elbow grease. If you resort to clay, I would recommend something softer than a bar.

if its really on there, try using a sponge with the hard side, not sure what they are called... but I've had to do that before. It can scuff the paint a bit if you use it too hard, lesser of two evils? :)

I have sap remover that I use on my limo's but I get huge bulk stuff. I'm sure you can buy it at the store
